2. ILLUSTRATION - jane ormes book

Fans of artist Jane Ormes will be pleased to know she has illustrated a new children's book. 3. WALL ART - studio noodles

Lisa Jane Dhar of Studio Noodles has recently released some eco art prints which are now available from Not on the High Street. They are all printed on recycled pulp board using vegetable inks and finished with an eco waterbased sealant. Designed and Made in Britain many of the prints have been inspited by London. 4. CATH KIDSTON - aw 2015

One of the key prints for children in Cath Kidston's forthcoming Autumn Winter collection is 'Sausage Dogs' which features on china, textiles, bags, pencil cases etc. and should appeal to both young ones and dog lovers alike. 5. KIDS DESIGN - goosebumps

I came across the Goosebumps brand at online store Howkapow and wanted to find out a bit more. Founded in Australia in 2014 Goosebumps was created by Inga Rodd, a Melbourne based designer. Inga's prints are inspired by her own twin boys, childhood memories and quirky design. The Roar design with leopards, tigers and zebras caught my eye for its modern yet timeless feel. 6. DESIGNER - sari ahokainen

Sari Ahokainen is a designer based in Finland who has recently designed some prints on children's clothes for German label Delari. Her organic fabrics Happiness and So Sweet have been used for leggings and dresses. You can see more of Sari's portfolio for licensing online here.

7. KIDS DESIGN - mini boden

More fun kids patterns and placement prints today - starting with Mini Boden who have some really fun fish designs, tropical birds and multicoloured giraffes. Boden are well known for their applique designs on tops and tees and for summer this year they have used sparkling sequins.

8. KIDS DESIGN - becky & lolo

Moving away from kid's clothing I picked out a few highlights from children's website Becky & Lolo. Catching my eye particularly were these fox and owl wall decals by RoomMates. Each character is made up from coloured prismatic and patterned circles. They also stock a variety of patterned bedding designs.

15. KIDS DESIGN - mothercare

We finish off a fun week of kids design with a selection from Mothercare. This retro design above and below is from their Little Bird range by Jools Oliver. Jools is the wife of chef Jamie Oliver and has worked with Mothercare to produce a whole collection inspired by seventies fashion. Another name working with Mothercare is Mylene Klass who has a line with them called Baby K.

At Sainsbury's there was definitely a Spring/Easter feel to their latest range with rabbits, flowers, and bumble bees coming into stock making a nice fresh contrast to the darker winter designs. 25. KIDS DESIGN - boots mini club

Another place to discover cool kids prints is Boots where you will find the Mini Club brand. I really liked this simple floral (above) and noticed they were particular good at offering colourful boys prints like the pirate dinosaur and friendly octopus.
