1. PAPERCHASE AW16 - headgangers

Today's sneak previews feature children's designs from Paperchase's Autumn Winter 2016 offering. The first is 'Headgangers' a fun new graphic kids design from Paperchase. 2. PAPERCHASE - purr maids

And also today from Paperchase we have another of their 'Back to School' collections. This children's design mixes two things little girls love : kittens and mermaids to create 'Purr Maids' and features 1980's style pastels and airbrushing. The design features on everything a girl could need for school with a full range stationery and lunchware, and is available in stores and online now.

3. STATIONERY ETC - chronicle books

4. BOOK - thereza rowe

London-based illustrator Thereza Rowe has joined forces with publisher Ivy Kids to create a stylish new art activity book called "Sticker, Shape, Create". 10. ONLINE STORE - psikhouvanjou

11. CARDS - rosalind maroney

These cute cards are by designer Rosalind Maroney and were created for her Etsy Shop. Rosalind is also busy freelancing, and working on her first children's book commissions alongside her usual product work. 12. PACKAGING - matalan

Next we have some packaging that caught my eye for it's fun typography and illustrations. These designs were spotted on summer garden toys at Matalan and feature a fun combination of jungle leaves, flowers, and insects on a stylish grid. Also spotted were nice type on kraft for their outdoor sports packaging and painterly marks on craft kits.

13. KIDS DESIGN - debenhams

Today I am back on the subject of Children's Design with a selection of store snaps from UK department store Debenhams. I scoured the kids dept for summer prints and found lots of tropical birds, fruit and ice cream, and fashionable swans. 15. KIDS DESIGN - mini boden

Have you seen the new Florasaurus prints from Mini Boden which have been widely publicised as the first ever dinosaur print for girls. The collection was inspired by the famous female paleontologist and fossil collector Mary Anning. I was really touched last week to receive a surprise gift from designer/maker Jane Foster. Jane said she had thought of me when David Bowie died and knew I must be feeling down - so to cheer me up she created a Bowie Fan Doll. 18. NEW SEASON - mini labo

Today we are taking a look at the latest designs from Mini Labo. This cute Paris based company was founded by Celine Heno and Caroline Diaz and specialises in stationery, paper, homewares and ceramics. 19. DESIGNER - jonathan miller

These fun designs are artwork from illustrator/designer Jonathan Miller who has a background in kids books and children's sleepwear. I thought I would just drop in and see what was new at ferm LIVING. I was pleased to find designs from Ingela P Arrhenius on kitchen napkins and boards, and a cute cat poster for children. Also catching my eye were the bold geometrics of the Maya range (above & below) on cushions and wall art.

These cute design are all from the Dutch based 'A Little Lovely Company'.
