This is the last week for P&P before a little break so I wanted to post some summer designs while we are still in the mood. These colourful bits and pieces were snapped in Zara Kids and feature on childrenswear from the SS2016 range.

London-based illustrator Thereza Rowe has joined forces with publisher Ivy Kids to create a stylish new art activity book called "Sticker, Shape, Create". Today I am back on the subject of Children's Design with a selection of store snaps from UK department store Debenhams. I scoured the kids dept for summer prints and found lots of tropical birds, fruit and ice cream, and fashionable swans. And staying with the theme of children's design we also have a selection of, mainly, placement prints from Gap.  Fun typography and cute designs can be seen at Gap Kids and Baby Gap and these are all from their Summer 2016 collection.

Next we have some packaging that caught my eye for it's fun typography and illustrations. These designs were spotted on summer garden toys at Matalan and feature a fun combination of jungle leaves, flowers, and insects on a stylish grid. Also spotted were nice type on kraft for their outdoor sports packaging and painterly marks on craft kits.

After the UK bank holiday I thought I would return with some fun design items from Dutch company Psikhouvanjou. This fun, colourful design led store work with many designers you will recognise such as Helen Dardik, Ingela P Arrhenius, Suzy Ultman, Darling Clementine and many more. These cute cards are by designer Rosalind Maroney and were created for her Etsy Shop. Rosalind is also busy freelancing, and working on her first children's book commissions alongside her usual product work.
