Called 'Folk Life Plants' and 'Folk Life' they were handmade and screen printed in Stoke on Trent, England andat least 12 people are involved in the making of each cup. Cherith Harrison is a designer and printmaker from Edinburgh who has created a range a Scottish themed products. 3. KITCHEN - wildwood

4. NEW SEASON - joules

5. WILD & WOLF - v&a

Wild & Wolf have teamed up with the V&A Museum to create a range of patterned gift and garden products. The are tools, pots, mugs, vases, gloves and watering cans featuring mid century prints taken from the museum's archive. The first (above & below) is Palamos designed by Sylvia Chalmers in 1953. 6. PAPERCHASE - mugs

Ooh La La are a stationery brand based in Seoul, Korea. Their designs mix retro motifs and florals with quirky characters with graphic influences from the 1970's and 80's. When my We love to Illustrate newsletter arrived this month one project that really stood out were these beautiful mugs designed by Belinda Strong (little beehive). Two designers at The Wise House have come to my attention lately - Megan Alice England and Catherine Colebrook. First we have textile home accessories which are designed, screen printed and sewn together by Megan. The collection currently includes unisex Make Up Bags and Plastic Bag Tidies. I was so pleased to see a designer we admire here on Print & Pattern achieving some lovely success recently with these Jane Foster mugs spotted for sale in Urban Outfitters. Jane has been designing and creating wonderful designs and vintage pieces from her Devon home for a number of years and it's great to see her illustrations moving into products.

It was through researching Tyra von Zweigbergk that I found out Korean company MMMG (millimeter milligram) had introduced the fifth version of their glass cups back in summer 2014.
