i love visiting the bhs home department to see whats new. the bright yellow bedlinen and citrus coloured homewares certainly blew away the cobwebs of the january sale and provided a fresh pop of colour for spring. here are a few snaps taken in store and at the top two lovely images of wall art and one of cushions from their handy online store.

i was in high street store marks & spencer last week and spotted a new range of kitchen storage tins. the first collection is called 'kitchen text' and will also be used on tea towels, mugs and trays. the second is a lovely folk design from their 'caravan' collection. also shown are various mugs and a lovely herb print tea towel.

the cath kidston spring summer 2013 press show took place last week in london. their new season prints were displayed in a gallery style space and featured everything from camping accessories to kitchenware. i was lucky enough to attend their show for the first time and managed to get some snapshots to share with you. we begin with kitchen and laundry where two of the key prints were this

here is a lovely new range thats perfect for spring with its fresh colours and delicate bird illustrations. the collection was designed by ashley thomas for uk department store debenhams. ashley was thrilled to be able to collaborate with them on designing a series mugs, notebooks, cushions, and wall art.

helsinki is the world design capital 2012 and it is also the headquarters of arabia finland who founded thier factory in 1873. to celebrate they have produced a series of new mugs called 'hometown'. finnish designer miira zukale has drawn inspiration from the city of helsinki, capturing its atmosphere, architecture, nature and features to produce four different mugs park, sea, block, and downtown.

i was in selfridges recently and came across a fantastic series of alphabet mugs. the vintage style designs feature a stylish letter and a matching motif are produced by london based studio magpie in collaboration with dustin wallace who is famous for his design work at fossil. i took some snapshots in selfridges where they have the whole a-z in stock and looked up some more online images as
