Do you have to believe in the Trinity to be saved? The short answer is no. The Bible does not mention a “Trinity,” let alone state that one must believe in it in order to attain salvation. Furthermore, no verse in Scripture says you must believe that Jesus Christ is God in order to be saved.

1. Jesus is the son of God – NOT GOD.
2. Soul is breath life; it’s what animates you and makes you a LIVE person. You lose your soul, your breath life, when you die.
3. Holy Spirit is the gift of salvation that is bestowed upon you when you do one simple thing:

Romans 10:9
That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Salvation is of the utmost importance, so let’s be sure we understand God’s instructions, which are really quite simple. To be saved, you must confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord. What does that mean? It means that you say what the Bible clearly declares—that Jesus is the Son of God who died for your sins, was raised from the dead, and highly exalted to the right hand of God. Have you ever opened your mouth and said, “Jesus is Lord?” Why not say it right now? It’s simple: “Jesus is Lord.”

Romans 10:9 goes on to say that along with confessing that Jesus is Lord, you are to believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead. What is it to believe in your heart? It means to really believe it. Is that difficult? No, not at all. You probably believe that George Washington was the first president of the United States, even though you never saw him. In the same way, there are many, many valid reasons to believe that God raised Jesus up from the dead.

For proof, read our article, “23 Arguments for the Historical Validity of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.”

Once you have confessed with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believed in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you are saved. Salvation is very easy because God wants all men to be saved (1 Tim. 2:4), and He is offering it as a free gift. The reason it is free to you is because Jesus Christ paid the price for it with his life.

Here’s a link to the books I’ve read this year thus far.

I’m certain I wouldn’t have read this many books so far this year without this challenge. I like to challenge myself – I like deadlines because they (sometimes) push me to actually GET SOMETHING DONE.

Can you believe the year is half over?!?

These comments kill me. So, by your logic, it will be equally okay to get involved in a fight that is not our fight when we have a Republican president? Right?? You can’t have it both ways … either we help them because it’s the right thing to do, or we don’t, regardless of the party in power at the time.

Right. Because the old regime was such an innocent bunch of good ‘ole boys who wouldn’t hurt a fly … until they organized and flew planes into American buildings and killed thousands of innocent people.

Idiot.

And let’s not forget that we just added fuel to the crazy terrorist fire by releasing five top Iranian terrorists to join the fight and brain storm new, horrific ways to kill us.

Hey. Don’t look at me, I didn’t vote for the numbnut.

20. Tweet of the Moment

It’s just scary to think how quickly people can be duped into giving up their (and unfortunately, OUR) rights. The government always starts with some BS narrative. “It’s for the children” (gun control) “It’s to stop the terrorists” (TSA molestation) “It’s a humanitarian crisis” (illegal invasion) “It’s to stop the welfare leeches” (sterilization).

Yeah, right. If they really wanted to make people personally accountable, they’d stop welfare. It’s really that simple. That’s not what they want though. They love taking our money and buying votes. They want more of our liberties.

That is so obviously apparent, that I can’t understand how people don’t see it. There’s some bizarre sentiment of loyalty towards politicians/party to the point where people allow themselves (and even their children, elderly) to be abused and look the other way.

Welfare needs to end, on all levels. Whether it’s foreign aid, “bailouts,” or food stamps. It creates a dependent class of people who have absolutely no idea that there is a better way–competency.

I completely agree. It’s no coincidence that once America got in the welfare business (like you said, on all levels, foreign aid, bailouts, food stamps, etc.), our greatness started to wane.

A few of the comments from the above article.

I have to agree. Though it's a good idea to sterilize losers like this guy (dude – ever heard of CONDOMS?? Ladies, ever heard of COMMON SENSE??), it's a dangerous road to travel. That's why America is in the shape she's in today – the government has chipped away too many of our freedoms.

22. Tweet of the Moment

“It’s like a crapshoot,” Spratte says. “You may or may not be letting something in with a disease we haven’t had in the U.S. before.” He says he knows of an active case of tuberculosis that passed through the facility, along with people who had scabies and others who had measles. There was even one case of leprosy, he says. “I don’t think the people in the interior U.S. realize it’s a different world,” Spratte says. “This is the U.S., but it’s a different part of the U.S. This is almost like a different country.”

“We can’t solve this, we can’t stop the problem because it’s not an enforcement thing, it’s a policy,” he says. “Because whether or not it was intentional, the policies they have in Washington I believe are encouraging them (illegal immigrants).”

Uh, YA THINK???

Hey, ya’ll voted the SOB into office FOR THE SECOND TIME.

Now deal with his “Utopia.”

23. Audio Teachings: The Errors of the Trinity: Session One

25. Wearing Pajamas to Work

Nurses get to wear casual clothes to work.

We’re expected to wear scrubs, which are really just professional pajamas. We do get a color choice though, pewter, navy or black.

YAY!

I shouldn’t complain. Scrubs are comfortable and cheap when you consider how much it costs for a work wardrobe.

AND, you don’t have to tax your brain too much when deciding what to wear every day.

Still. It would be nice to be able to wear normal clothes now and again. Scrubs are not very restrictive – which is why there are a lot of fat people in health care.
