2. PLAYTIME PARIS - gabriela larios

Another exhibition opening this weekend is Playtime Paris where designer Gabriela Larios will be showing her portfolioin the Crea tif. Space. 3. DESIGNERS - by may

BY MAY is a new brand created by Swedish designers Johanna Örn and Maria Bergström. BY MAY will feature unique home interior products with focus on pattern design, colour and a variety of materials. They recently exhibited at Formex 2015 in Stockholm showcasing their new silicone Polygon Place mats and Watoji Notebooks where Scandinavian pattern design meets traditional Japanese bookbinding.

4. DESIGNER - anisa makhoul

Anisa Makhoul graduated from the  Minneapolis College of Art and Design with a degree in Printmaking and went on to form her own clothing label, Makool. Kimberly Ellen Hall is the designer behind the studio label Nottene (pronounced [nuh-ten-uh]) which a Norwegian word that means nuts. 8. VALENTINE'S 2015 - paperchase

After yesterday's sneak previews of future releases today we get back to Paperchase's current designs. February 14th is of course Valentine's Day and cards have already begun to appear in the shops. 11. PAPERCHASE PREVIEW - safari park

Today we are lucky enough to be seeing a beautiful new Paperchase collection for Spring Summer 2015 that has not yet been released. 'Safari Park' is a full range of products featuring stylised safari animals such as elephants, giraffes, and zebras. 12. PAPERCHASE PREVIEW - jungle fever

Our second Paperchase preview today is a forthcoming range called 'Jungle Fever'. This is an exotic mix of colourful jungle blooms on black, vivid birds and feathers, and spikey grass palms. There will also be quirky cockatoo ceramics for a really tropical summer look. 13. PAPERCHASE - geek kitty

Today we are looking at some of the new spring arrivals at Paperchase. The first new range of stationery featured is the colourful and fun 'Geek Kitty'. The design is a mixture of digital photo collage and neon flouro colours. 14. PAPERCHASE - indigo dreams

Our next Paperchase spring arrival is Indigo Dreams a blue and white themed collection of hexagonal prints and denim florals. There are plenty of ceramics in the range for an afternoon tea theme such as cups and saucers, cake stands, and tea a teabag holder, plus all the usual stationery, bags and gift items. 15. PAPERCHASE - get organised

And lastly from Paperchase today we have 'Get Organised' a range of storage boxes and filing. Featuring a geometric print which has the illusion of a three dimensional weave the design features on box files, pen pots, note pads, drawers, and more. I came across a really great web shop recently called Deco-Graphic. Today is also publication day for the new Print & Pattern Geometric book. Aless Baylis is a print designer who has been working in-house at companies such as Paperchase, Peagreen, Paper & Cloth and Debenhams over the last 8 years. Aless has now set up her own studio label called This is Gold and has a new website showcasing some of her work. Aless most recently worked in creating baby graphics at Debenhams for their labels Jasper Conran, John Rocha and Bluezoo.

22. FABRICS - monaluna westwood

I love the colours and prints on this new fabric collection from Monaluna. Called 'Westwood' the range of ten prints have a sophisticated woodland theme with toadstools, deer, and pine trees. 25. FABRICS - melody miller

Also catching my eye for January 2015 is this new fabric collection by Melody Miller for Cotton + Steel. Inspired by games and toys it features such prints as Backgammon, Jacks, Wordfind, Memory, and Bowling. Plus of course one of Melody's signature motifs the Viewfinder, and a co-ordinating floral.
