1. NEW - art gallery fabrics pt.1

Art Gallery Fabrics will be at the Quilt Market in Houston this weekend (25th-27th Oct) launching lots of fabulous new design collections. 3. DESIGNER - circus boy band

Circus boy Band is a multidisciplinary design studio based in Seoul, South Korea. The collaborative studio takes on commissions in graphic design, illustration, product design, and also have their own label with stationery, bags, homewares, etc. This woodland design caught my eye along with lots of other interesting bits and pieces, As spotted online at Circus Boy Band.

4. WALLPAPER - mini moderns

'Feathers' is the third wallpaper design in the Mini Moderns 'Hinterland' collection. This is a result of a repeat collaboration between Mini Moderns and artist, Matt Sewell. Tyra von Zweigbergk is a designer and illustrator based in Stockholm, Sweden. Tyra studied at Beckmans College of Design graduating in 1999. It was through researching Tyra von Zweigbergk that I found out Korean company MMMG (millimeter milligram) had introduced the fifth version of their glass cups back in summer 2014. 12. STORESNAPS - matalan

As Christmas time approaches the stores begin to fill with 'gift ranges' - collections of themed products like toiletries, sewing, baking, stationery etc all with extra special effort put into the packaging. The range I spotted this year were in Matalan where I took some snapshots of collections : Lilybell Bakery, The Sweetest Thing, and The Little Things.

I love the neon touches in these hand printed fabrics and home accessories from Bon Maison. The brand was formed in 2010 by Jody Myerscough-Walker after she graduated from The Winchester School Of Art in 2009, with a degree in Printed Textiles. I don't know how I missed this but the illustrator Anna Kövecses who was featured on Print & Pattern last week has created a range of cards for Nineteen Seventy Three.  All the illustrations in the collection are from Anna's educational book about the summer of a little girl on a Mediterranean Island. I was so pleased to see a designer we admire here on Print & Pattern achieving some lovely success recently with these Jane Foster mugs spotted for sale in Urban Outfitters. Jane has been designing and creating wonderful designs and vintage pieces from her Devon home for a number of years and it's great to see her illustrations moving into products.

17. KIDS DESIGN - boots store snaps

Today's Print & Pattern is all about children's design as I made a visit to Boots recently. For those outside the UK Boots is a well known high street store (founded in 1849) known for their health and beauty products as well as baby merchandise.
