1. DESIGNER - two little ducklings

Two Little Ducklings is a design studio based in Melbourne, Australia and was the creation of graphic design Jacinta Wier. The idea for the business came while Jacinta was on maternity leave and became interested in children's decor. 3. CARDS & WRAP - dot com gift shop

These bold new card and wrapping paper designs caught my eye at the DotCom Gift Shop this week. There are two designs available - the first is "vintage apples" and the second "folkart animals'. Apples are one of my favourite pattern subjects and this one has some really interesting centre motifs. As spotted online here.

4. CARDS & WRAP - katie leamon

My second Conran Shop discovery was Katie Leamon after seeing her neon and kraft cards lined up on the card department shelf. Based in London this luxury card & stationery brand uses Katie's love of typography and illustration to produce timeless designs. 5. GREETINGS - tesco

UK supermarket Tesco have just signed a five year contract with Hallmark who will be taking over their greetings card department from UK Greetings. Kicking off in September it will involve the launch of an exclusive brand and revolutionary new ‘card shop’ concept being installed, in varying degrees, across all of Tesco’s stores. 6. GIFT WRAP - the chaos club

Summer may officially be over in the UK but the weather this week has turned hot and sunny again so it seemed a fun time to showcase the fruity ranges from The Chaos Club. 13. XMAS WRAP - paper & cloth studio

It's December so we can at last start looking seriously at Christmas designs. The first are some terrific new wrapping papers from the Paper & Cloth Studio who are selling their papers through a shop on Not on the High Street. Various members of the studio team have designed the print which including woodland creatures,colourful geometrics and cycling polar bears.

14. XMAS 2014 - wilko

Today I am looking at the Christmas 2014 ranges from Wilko. This UK retailer has really focused on design for the last few years and is a great place to look for lights and decorations. They have divided their Christmas offering into collections this year and we begin with Humbug which features bright yellow, magenta, cyan and black along with geometrics for a contemporary feel.

15. XMAS - patrick hruby wrap

16. GIFT WRAP - leah duncan

bristol based publishers betty & dupree specialise in quality cards and paper goods by contemporary illustrators. they have just launched their very first range of gift wrap, comprising of six designs by artist leah duncan from austin, texas. leah takes inspiration from the surrounding landscape, and also her native american roots to create a delicate folk-meets-modern world. see them online here.

18. NEW WORK - solitaire

 solitaire have introduced new designs for winter including notebooks, trays, christmas cards and wrapping paper. solitaire's christmas theme is 'partridges and pears', and the new robin card matches an existing wrap. the new tray design is made in sweden, although these are the only things solitaire sell which are made outside the UK. made from sustainable birch wood they are dishwasher safe

19. NEW SEASON - lagom

uk publishers lagom have recently launched some new products. items include a monochrone wrapping page range called 'bofink owl' (above & below) designed by lagom's kelly hyatt, and new gift wraps by helen dardik. there are also additional designs added to collections by carrie may and ingela p arrhenius using gold and silver foil. see more online at lagom here.

21. CATH KIDSTON - christmas wrap

we've had the cards, tags, and labels and now here is the wrapping paper from the 2012 christmas designs at cath kidston. the roll wrap is sold as a pack of three and each roll is three metres in length. designed to co-ordinate the designs are holly, deer, and red polka dots.

22. PAPERCHASE - new season

here are a few new wrapping paper designs that caught my eye in paperchase last week. i love this woodland design (above & below) that has the feeling of cut out paper, this is followed by cute, colourful, and loosely painted owls. also shown is a beautiful triangle stripe paper. i'd be happy to see any of these gorgeous prints go through into a full blown range but we'll have to wait and see

Rosehip have a cute new gift wrap & greeting card collection called 'Little Dolly Wotsit'.
