Meet the author and illustrator of the new children’s book “Herman, My Love,” featuring Herman Bear and Daffodil Duck.“ The book, written by Jane Svitchan, a Harrisburg resident, and illustrated by Sheena Hisiro, formerly of Susquehanna Twp., is the story about Herman Bear who yearns for a friend. Ten percent of all profits from the book sale will go to the Father Srboljub Jockovic Fund for charity.

Join me tonight at the Susquehanna Art Museum in Harrisburg, PA at 5:30 PM for the release of two new books! I will also be at the East Shore Area Library on Saturday at 11:30 AM, as part of the extended release for the book Fly Fly High in the Sky.
Some of my illustrations will be on view at the Susquehanna Art Museum in Harrisburg, PA, starting March 20th - May 24th.

BROOKLYN’S BIGGEST BAKE SALE IS BACK!
On October 25, 2014 New Yorkers of all ages will pig out at the City Reliquary Museum’s 5th Annual Havemeyer Sugar Sweets Festival, the city’s biggest celebration of New York’s bakers and sweet-makers.
The heart of the Festival is the Civic Bake Sale, a sweet-tooth smorgasbord featuring treats donated by everyone from humble home chefs to top-tier pros and landmark New York bakeries. 100% of the proceeds from the bake sale will support the City Reliquary Museum, a beloved New York history and civic museum.
