More predator humor at
Harts Pass. Cute

Things are a little easier in the summer... but is that always better?
Phew. On a hot June day... I am ALREADY looking forward to winter!
Amazingly enough, it's graduation week again in Harts Pass country. Another year has flown the coop, and the world is wild with possibility. Intuition kiddos. Go fourth with your gut and be good!
Spring finally sprung while we were away last week on break. Appropriately a little cooler and damp to end the week, but multiple days of 70 degrees and sunshine melts a lot of snow and gets the new leaves cranking along :) And yes, the bears should be getting up again too!
As the creator of this comic strip and the scribe of occasional commentary therein, I will in no way shape or form be voting for anyone resembling this cartoon candidate. I would however, vote for this cartoon candidate before I would vote for anyone that he resembles. That being said, I will definitely vote, and thankfully NOT for a cartoon character.
It's true, the wolverines want nothing to do with divisive, fear-mongering politics. Enough said!
Even more appropriate as we woke up to 4-8 inches of new snow this morning -- and now the sun is blazing its way to another 40+ degree afternoon. Oh yes, and the track season started on Monday, February 29th...
A brand new feature for Harts Pass Comics -- It's "Tech Talk" with the Family Mustelidae!
Wolverines are AMAZING endurance athletes, traveling as much as 15-20 miles per day in search of food. That being said, they also do much of that travel at night and at high altitudes, so maybe they're pulling a fast one and sleeping more than we know :) GRRR!

Happy (almost) Valentine's Day!
Having our first real thaw of the winter this last week or so. Great (finally!) for packing some snow together and building stuff, but a little melty when it hits the upper 30's and a LOT heavier for shoveling - plus messier for waxing those classic skis with klister. So it goes :) All in a good winter!

I'm not a backcountry skier by any stretch of the imagination, but the snow's been so cold and light and fluffy 'round here of late that even the front country is skiing pretty great :) It won't last long so get H.A.P.P.Y. while you can!
Sleep walking into the New Year... but
The Force is strong with this one. Much love and Happy New Year to all! (Apologies for the droopy eyes.)
Merry Christmas and Seasons GRRReetings from all of us wild critters at Harts Pass Comics!
The ski season was officially underway several weeks back, but with a fall marathon finally under my belt I am happy to put away the shoes for a month or two myself :) Happy Holidays!
The C$MyWallet®! Technology beyond your wildest imagination.
It's been a while since I've done a "History of Grit" strip, but here you go! On this date in 1847...

Surprised by nearly a foot of snow in the driveway on Tuesday morning. Winter indeed!
