I recently finished this piece and this week's SFG theme fits poifectly because it made me think of when I was six years old!
I like to call this one 'Groovy Grandma' because it reminds me of my Great Grandma Howels who taught me to play the piano, ride a bike and play shuffleboard. Some of my fondest memories are the times I spent with her. Ha, we used to watch Lassie and eat bon bons. Man, I miss her. She was one hip lady.

This is me in 1986. I was 6 years old.
I was part nerd, part tomboy but that didn’t stop my mother from putting barretts in my hair. I was a little girl who liked to play in the dirt and ride my bike but the world was just a big pastel ball of sick.
God, I’m glad the 80s are over.
This week's challenge: The number 6!
This could quite possibly be the easiest challenge topic I've ever posted, looking forward to the results!
The SFG Challenge was created to challenge every member to stretch their creative muscles, venture outside of their artistic boundaries and post their interpretations each week on a specific theme. You are enthusiastically encouraged to participate!
Don't forget to label your posts and leave your comments!
Have a great week!

Very cool!
very nice stuff. I love the way she catches the words to make her song. Nice thinking and nice light touch on these drawings.
