How to use this Page
You are viewing the most recent posts tagged with the words: pin in the JacketFlap blog reader. What is a tag? Think of a tag as a keyword or category label. Tags can both help you find posts on JacketFlap.com as well as provide an easy way for you to "remember" and classify posts for later recall. Try adding a tag yourself by clicking "Add a tag" below a post's header. Scroll down through the list of Recent Posts in the left column and click on a post title that sounds interesting. You can view all posts from a specific blog by clicking the Blog name in the right column, or you can click a 'More Posts from this Blog' link in any individual post.
Hi Everyone
I just wanted to let you know I opened up a new Etsy store called Keri Dawn Studios. I will be selling pocket mirrors, pins, magnets, coasters, prints, etc. with all of my illustrations on them. So far I have uploaded some pocket mirrors and pins. I will be adding new items each day, so please keep checking.
Here is the link:

I remember it well!!…the first landing, not the brooch! And yes, it was something special to be witnessing…and somehow you seemed to sense it even then, at that young age.
What a special keepsake…the brooch, as well as the memories! That was quite thoughtful of your grandmother to think to mark the event with a gift of the sort!
Thanks for sharing.
Paula, were there ever thoughts of becoming an astronaut?
I remember it. That brooch is a touch bizarre to say the least. I love it.
THAT is one funky and cool broach! I think you need to right a wrong and start wearing it.
Thank God for Grandmas.
And you can right the wrong of my misspelling of BROOCH, too!
Debbie: I think I recall a bunch of us kids out in the front yard playing tag and stuff, waiting for the parents to call us in when they actually stepped out. That was around 10 pm, I think (yes?). I always have memories of this taking place in the wee hours of the morning, but that makes sense if the broadcast went on for several hours, showing the astronauts doing various things (mostly running, if I remember!)
Jazz: It is odd, isn’t it? I haven’t found any like it when I’ve looked online. Can’t be one-of-a-kind. So were you watching the Moon Show in Canada, too, Jazz?
Barbara: Oh, cripes! How is it spelled? Oh…Seems there are different spellings for it. So your’s is acceptable after all…I think!
No, Paula, I was the one who misspelled it, not you!
Barbara: Yes…At first I thought you meant me. But then saw you meant you. But your’s is correct as well, so I don’t need to change it. : D
I vaguely remember watching it on TV. We boldly went where no man had gone before. Then we stopped.
