Just wondering - I know you paint your images. Do you do anything to them digitally? Does your publisher expect digital files or original paintings?

I just ask because someone was telling me publishers want digital these days and I work with old fashioned pencils and brushes. I suppose I could always scan the original...

I love how moody and atmospheric these are. You have a very strong sense of 'Eric Orchard-ness' in your work that ties it all together and makes it recognizably yours.

Do you mean publishers only want digital art? Because I don't think that's the case, traditional art is still very strong.
As for the files, they do want digital files. I'll either pay to have them scanned and emailed from where I am or I'll send the original art work to them to have scanned.It's never a problem though.

When I showed this to my brothers they felt the suspense and were worried about Nora. This is a fantastic beginning to the novel! I don't know how you thought of it

old monster movies definitely come across in the paintings and the boys can't wait to see what happens next (they love action!)

We haven't received the package yet. We both live in separate middle of nowheres so I guess it might take a bit (LOL) We'll be on the lookout!
