1. Kitty Kerplunking Book Report

Kindergartner, Madeline, was told to choose her favorite book for her book report. As you can see, she chose KITTY KERPLUNKING.

And what a great job she did illustrating Preppy's lunch with a friend. :-)
Thanks, Madeline, for sharing your book report, and here's a wish for lots of great reading this summer!

2. Grammar Games

Hey, I had a really nice thank you note today from a mom who bought a copy of DOGGIE DAY CAMP. When she shared it with her stepson, who was struggling a bit recognizing adverbs, Bubba's story seemed to flip the adverbial light on for him.

Hip-hip-hooray for all THE PET GRAMMAR PARADE critters! Their mission is to make learning fun for kids-- KITTY KERPLUNKING and HAMSTER HOLIDAYS.

Check out these online grammar games for more grammar fun:

3. HAPPY HOLIDAYS FOR HAMSTERS

I had a great time at MAIN STREET BOOKS in St. Charles, Missouri today, signing copies of HAMSTER HOLIDAYS as well as DOGGIE DAY CAMP, KITTY KERPLUNKING (also from the Pet Grammar Parade series) and GIFTS FROM GOD as well.

It was a majorly rainy day here, but nothing stops serious book shoppers. We had a great turnout, and I want to thank store owner Vicki, as well as sales person Sue, for making me so welcome. Coming to Main Street Books is always a treat.

Here are photos with some fans and me. Plus, check out these awesome flowers, courtesy of Randy & Juanita Tatro. What a sweet treat when I walked in the door at Main Street Books! Thanks so much, you two. And thanks to everyone for stopping by--including my number one fan, my husband Rob.

What a grand way to celebrate the Labor Day holiday with HAMSTER HOLIDAYS. Here's hoping everyday is a holiday for you!

4. KITTY KERPLUNKING on You Tube

Talented Kim McDougall has created a fun book trailer for KITTY KERPLUNKING: PREPOSITION FUN. You can take a look here.
And while you're at You Tube, search for more of Kim's wonderful book trailers.
Congratulations to fellow Guardian Angel Publishing author, Kevin Scott Collier! Kevin is preparing for his own television show, Drawing for KICKS, on KICKS Club TV--it will air this fall.

5. Teaching with New Media Awards

Here's a poster design I'm working on. The print will be 24" x 39.5". I've really been slackin' on the posts lately. Every free moment I've had has been consumed by getting my new website up (I'm sure many of you know how consuming that can be). Now that I have that out of the out of the way; I can start doodling up some stuff to share with you all.
