2. Christmas House

Here's one I drew from a photo that was lacking in details..so there are areas I would like to have been able to see better. It also had much brush that I had to remove and make it look snowy and wintery.

3. A Good Get

7-Imp captures a rare glimpse of fellow kidlit blogger David Elzey this week. It's an interview worth taking note of. After all, if you're not a regular reader of the excelsior file by now, you should seriously reconsider your blog-reading priorities. Aside from his intelligent commentaries on classic folktales and tropes, the man has the rare ability to pin down exactly why a book does or does not work. I refer you at this time to his comments regarding the new Sticky Burr book. Smurfs in burr form? Precisely.
