I received this wonderful surprise in the mail recently. My lovely and talented friend
Monica Carnesi is a writer/illustrator and a librarian as well. She spotted my art on the cover of Random House's catalog and was super kind to mail it to me. Isn't she the sweetest?! I know! :o)
It's a treat for me to see my art on the cover and their selection of baby books is just adorable.

Truth is I'm working like mad on a deadline so this will be a flash post.
I thought I would share with you a video trailer I put together for ABC, Baby Me! (Random House). I think it turned out really cute, well.. how could it not with those adorable babies!?
Thanks SO much to my sweet gals Gina and Deb for helping me with this. What would I do without my PBJ's? :o)

If you are an artist advertising on the site you should add your pics too. Everyone loves seeing other artist's work spaces but more importantly it's another way to be found on the site. You have to take advantage of things like this. My two cents.. :o)

Hi there!
Just a quick post this week. Christmas book deadline is almost here so my tiny studio is a total mess. I cant show anything from the book until publication so I took the art away and left the rest of the messy table for you to admire. ;o)
I am so happy with how this book turned out! The quality is amazing. It's got some real sturdy board book pages with a really nice shine to them that I just love.
I will show you more pictures next week on the
PBJ's blog since it will be book celebration week with behind the scenes post, reviews, notes about the author and a giveaway too! See you then! :o)
ABC Baby Me! will be out and available tomorrow! Yay!
I already have my copies with me and let me say.. it is such a beautiful book! I am very proud and couldn't be happier..
