I've posted my fourth "Doctor Who" novella over my Who Fiction Blog today. This is the one that burned in my brain for nearly two weeks whilst I finished writing the third tale, and as a consequence I was able to write the entire first draft over the four day Easter weekend. Roughly 22000 words in four days - I've never written so much, so fast before... Read the rest of this post

I remember once a story that had so embedded itself in my brain that I was thinking about it all the time. It inhabited every fiber of my being - the thoughts, the feelings, even the WORDS yammered at me incessantly. When I got to writing it down, it flew out of me (which is very unusual for me!). The odd thing? It shared some plot elements with your story. It wasn't Doctor Who (or that Universe), and it wasn't about an empath, but there were still some similarities. I think I'm taking quite a liking to Saskia for just those similarities. Great stuff! :D
I'm glad that you like Saskia... How interesting though, that your story shared similar elements with mine whilst being in a different universe !
With this story, I had whole scenes in my head - the conversations, movements of the protagonists, the lot ! That's probably why it was written so fast.
This fourth story is great! It was well worth the hard work and long hours that you put in - well it is from a readers point of view anyway!
There is action and suspense and the developing relationship between the Doctor and Saskia is interesting and thought provoking. Like Mai I am getting to like Saskia more and more as her character develops. She tough as well as being gentle and she has been through a lot since she joined the Doctor as his companion.
Your stories are getting better and better so do keep writing wont you?
