1. Adventures in Dog-Sitting

A friend of mine is house-sitting in Costa Rica for the month of November. She was trying to figure out what to do with her darling doggeh for such an extended time.
Since her dog (Kharma - a rescued, Indian street dog), is already friends with our Toby, I volunteered to take her in. After a little bit of adjustment - mostly involving getting Kharma to not chase the cats, it's been a lovely thing for the two beasties -

There is LOTS of wrestling...

(they are indefatigable!)

There is lots of patrolling the backyard... Checking out the chickens and making sure all is well and safe.

There is also a bit of naughtiness - the digging of holes.... lots of barking at things, both seen and unseen....

And also lots of companionable relaxing. (Fairly alert here though - as they are both hoping for a treat).

It's going to be hard to give her back at the end of the month. :-)
