1. Leo Howard Interview

Leo Howard

If you love Leo Howard from Kickin’ It, keep reading.

If any television actor has undergone an on-screen transformation, it’s Kickin’ It‘s Leo Howard. Remember what he was like when the show first started? But even if Leo–and his character Jack–has changed a bit on the outside, he’s still the super-chill guy we interviewed a little while back.

So it was great to catch up with him again and see what he’s been reading, what his favorite school subject is, and more! Check it out.

Q: What are you reading now?

Leo: I just finished reading Night by Elie Wiesel (for ages 12 and up). It was awesome. It made me cry many times. It’s about a Jewish kid that went through Auschwitz. Unbelievable.

Q: What’s your favorite school subject and why?

Leo: I like history because I like learning about things that happened in the past.

Q: Do you have any study tips?

Leo: Not really. Yes, actually I do. [Laughs] Stay diligent. Procrastination is your worst enemy when it comes to studying!

    3. Dylan Riley Snyder Interview

    dylan riley snyder

Dylan Riley Snyder in Kickin’ It

Are you a fan of Kickin’ It? Well, have we got a treat for you! We were lucky enough to get an interview with Dylan Riley Snyder, who plays Milton on the show. We talked about karate, his character, what kind of pet he wants, and more. Check it out!

Q: Let’s talk about your character, Milton.

Dylan: My character is probably the most well-meaning character on the show, but every time he tries to do something he gets shot down. It drives him more than a little wild. But it’s fun.

Q: Do you guys take karate lessons?

    Dylan: Leo [Howard]

does karate. I don’t do karate, but we take classes. The instructors are always on set and we learn the moves on set, mostly basic kicks and punches that we learn and piece together into a fight sequence.

Q: If you could have any pet in the world, what pet would you choose?

Dylan: I would have a fox—a red fox. I think they are beautiful! I think it would be great to show up at a party with a fox on a leash. Or I’d pick a Savannah cat…they’re the cats that look like cheetahs. But I’m allergic to cats!

Q: What’s something about you that most people don’t know?

Dylan: I like science a lot. I like looking at things in different ways, solving puzzles, and doing things with my hands…fixing stuff.

Q: What should people do to make the world a better place?

Dylan: Take a look in the mirror and fix what you can. Think about how you can make the people around you happy! And speak up! The world would be a much better place if more people would say what makes them happy.

Be sure to also check out Dylan’s book recommendation video

for the STACKS, and catch our interviews with his castmates Leo Howard and Olivia Holt!

    4. Olivia Holt in I Didn’t Do It

    Olivia Holt

Interview with Olivia Holt about her new show I Didn’t Do It!

Guess who’s back? Olivia Holt. That’s who! She is starring in her new show, I Didn’t Do It. Have you seen the show yet? Olivia Holt

co-stars with Austin North, who plays her fraternal twin brother. Together with their three best friends, the twins navigate the hilarious and embarrassing moments of their freshman year of high school. You may also know her as Kim on Kickin’ It. We caught up with Olivia to talk about her new show, her unknown (and very interesting) talent, and her most embarrassing moment. Check it out!
Q: Describe your character on I Didn’t Do It.

Olivia: I play the role of Lindy Watson. Lindy is not only a fraternal twin, she’s the twin who has the brains! Her brother is the complete opposite. Lindy’s a very hardworking and passionate person, and she adores her friends. We are similar in some aspects, like our love for our friends, and we’re both into being the best person we can be.

Q: Would you be friends with her in real life?

Olivia: Oh, absolutely. She’s always there for people and she’s really fun to be around!

Q: What’s it like being on set with the rest of the cast?

Olivia: What I love about this cast is that everyone is so unique and super-down-to-earth. Austin [North] is a very laid-back dude. I love that he laughs at all my jokes. Piper [Curda] is so incredibly sweet and the most adorable human being. She has the biggest heart and that’s what I love most about her. Sarah [Gilman] has the best sense of humor and she’s also very mischievous. I love her energy! Peyton [Clark] is a super-fun guy. When it comes to the intense games we play, though, he’s the most competitive.

There have been a few on-set pranks. The one that sticks out the most is when Sarah put a giant (fake) spider in my dressing room bathroom sink. I’m terrified of spiders and when I walked in there and saw it, I screamed.

Q: What is an unusual talent most people don’t know that you have?

Olivia: I was a competitive gymnast for seven years, so I’m constantly doing flips around the house. I can also walk just on my hands and I’ll walk around the house like that.

Q: Who was your first celebrity crush?

Olivia: My first celebrity crush was Jeremy Sumpter, who played Peter Pan in the live-action film Peter Pan. I saw that movie in theaters when I was younger and had the biggest crush on him.

Q: What’s the funniest or most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to you?

Olivia: In seventh grade I was in my science class and chewing gum, and somehow the gum fell out of my mouth and into my hair. It got all tangled in there and the whole class saw. So embarrassing! But looking back, it was pretty hilarious.

Q: What is one thing you wish everyone would do to make the world a better place?

Olivia: I am an advocate against bullying and a big believer in the saying, “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.” If everyone tried to keep this little saying in the back of his or her mind, I feel like the world would start becoming a better place.

Olivia seriously seems like the coolest girl ever. I wish that could walk around on my hands! What about you? Are you a fan of Olivia (and/or I Didn’t Do It)? Share your thoughts in the Comments below!

    5. Disney Lunar Eclipse

Jake Short, Bradley Steven Perry, and Paris MaryJo Berelc in Mighty Med

Disney Lunar Eclipse: Kickin’ It, Mighty Med, and Lab Rats

There will be a full eclipse of the moon on Monday night and into the early, early hours of Tuesday morning. Some people believe that a lunar eclipse can cause bizarre things to happen. Have you ever noticed that the word “lunatic” has the same root as “lunar?” And that Luna Lovegood is kind of, well, loony? Makes you think, doesn’t it? Anyway, on Monday, April 14th, Disney XD will air special episodes of 3 shows. We’ve got the details about those episodes plus interviews with some of the actors about the strange things they HOPE will happen on Monday night!

    Kickin’ It:

“Invasion of the Ghost Pirates” (8:00 pm – 8:30 pm E.T./P.T.)

With an impending lunar eclipse, an old Seaford legend surfaces about a ghost pirate returning to seek his revenge on the wharf after a lunar eclipse 300 years ago led to his ship crashing into the shore. Jack makes it clear he doesn’t believe in ghosts, but his skepticism is put to the test.

Mighty Med: “Night of the Living Nightmare” (8:30 pm – 9:00 pm E.T./P.T.)

Kaz and Oliver are exhausted and stuck working the overnight shift during a lunar eclipse, when it is rumored that the freakiest patients come to the hospital. When Neocortex checks in with an illness that unintentionally traps people in their worst nightmares, Kaz and Oliver desperately try to stay awake and figure out how to save everyone from their nightmares.

    Lab Rats:

“Principal from Another Planet” (9:00 pm – 9:30 pm E.T./P.T.)

Leo is determined to record the bizarre events he believes take place during a lunar eclipse. Davenport is skeptical until it appears that an alien life form has taken control of Principal Perry’s body.

Q: What strange or wacky thing do you wish would happen as a result of this eclipse?

    Jake Short:

(a.k.a. Oliver in Mighty Med) I wish it would start raining my favorite candy – Starburst.
Paris MaryJo Berelc: (a.k.a. Skylar in Mighty MedI hope the eclipse will give me the ability to breakdance over water.
Auggie Isaac: (a.k.a. Gus in Mighty MedI wish that just when the eclipse was happening, everyone got a superpower. That would be awesome.
    Dylan Riley Snyder:

(a.k.a. Milton in Kickin’ It) I wish that I would gain awesome superpowers during an eclipse. I would either use them to help with my daily life, or just show off. It would be nice to be very strong, or to fly, or even to control time. I think an eclipse could be powerful enough!
    Tyrel Jackson Williams
: (a.k.a. Leo in Lab Rats) As the moon passes in front of the sun, I gain the ability to fly. My life is complete!

What do YOU hope will happen as a result of the lunar eclipse? Leave your wishes/predictions in the Comments!
