Ashley Rickards, the star of MTV’s Awkward, has inked a deal for a book filled with “relatable tips for teenagers and young adults, accentuated by Rickards’ personal anecdotes.”
Harlequin will pulbishe Get Your Sh!T Together in spring 2015. Folio Literary Management agent Katherine Latshaw negotiated the deal. Here’s more about the book:
Get Your Sh!t Together will reveal Rickards’ intimate never-been-told personal struggles she faced growing up. From having lunch trays thrown at her to being kicked out of the Girl Scouts, readers will know that Rickards has been in their shoes. In a straightforward but witty voice, Rickards will guide her readers every step of the way through chapters on personal development, beauty, health, fashion, relationships, college/career, and organization/money—including personal tips and advice she learned along the way.
