Ever since the Veronica Mars movie was announced, I've been obsessively checking the
Kickstarter page, watching
Logan and Veronica clips on YouTube, and
reading every piece of news about who is going to be in the film and what the plot my be I can get my hands on. Yep, I love Veronica Mars and I'm thrilled she'll be making a comeback. Obsessed like me? Or new to Veronica Mars and need to get in a YA mystery mood? Here's what you can read while waiting for the Veronica Mars movie:
-Before he was creating TV show detectives, Rob Thomas was writing YA novels. The book just got a new cover and re-released this month.
-High school murder mystery and total fluffy fun
-Veronica Mars if she was born in 1942
-If Veronica Mars was a bit more chick lit and went to a school for spies
-Veronica Mars meets Harry Potter
And if you just can't get enough of Veronica:
Any other suggestions for Veronica Mars fans?
I've come across some TV Tie-Ins that I've enjoyed so I thought I should share them with my fellow TV & book lovers!
The Bro Code for Parents: What to Expect When You're Awesome by Barney StinsonOk, so I was sold on this one because Neil Patrick Harris narrates the audiobook. Neil Patrick Harris really needs to narrate more because he is awesome.
Thanks to Netflix, I've recently become a fan of
How I Met Your Mother, which after a long marathon, I am caught up on. The book is written by Barney and narrated by Barney, so be prepared for lots of laughs and Barney-appropriate baby advice. It's sure to make you laugh and maybe roll your eyes, but it's all out of Barney love, right? He even has new versions of songs to sing with your kids, new bro-approved stories to tell, and lots of helpful bro advice like when is the best time to conceive your child so you don't miss the Game of Thrones premiere.
A short, fun audiobook that would make a great gift to new and expecting parents who are fans of the show.

Great list, Sarah! May I also suggest "Lulu Dark Can See Through Walls" by Bennett Madison? A teen detective who is a lot of fun! I wish he would write more than the two in the series. The Spellman Files is also a fantastic series for teens interested in trying out an adult series.
what a great list!
Thanks for the suggestion Meghan! I've never read that one but I've seen it on my YA shelves forever. I'll have to check it out.
Thanks!
I can't wait for Veronica Mars!! Great list :)
