Welcome to Author Jenny Lee Sulpizio

Bio:
Jenny Lee Sulpizio, M.S., is a wife, business owner, and mother of three residing in Idaho. A native of Thousand Oaks, California, Jenny is an alumnus of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and Kansas State University. She enjoys tapping into her creative side whenever she gets the chance and is actively involved at her church, children's school, and in her community. Mommy Whispers is her first publication in a series soon to follow.

Interview:

If you could travel in a Time Machine would you go back to the past or into the future?
Definitely the past! I love the attire that I could have gotten away with back then. I don't want to see myself any older then I am right now! LOL.

What is one book everyone should read?
THE B-I-B-L-E!!! It's really good.

If you could have any superpower what would you choose?
I would LOVE to be able to snap my fingers like Mary Poppins and have my whole house cleaned in a matter of seconds. Better yet, I would love for my children to possess this power. That would be Heaven!

If you could meet one person who has died who would you choose?
Definitely Jesus...no one else could ever compare. :)

Night owl, or early bird?
Both-there is something seriously wrong with me?

One food you would never eat?
Cat food.

Please tell us in one sentence only, why we should read your book.
Mommy Whispers is truly about the appreciation of being blessed with a little girl of your own to nurture, care for, and love unconditionally.

Any other books in the works? Goals for future projects?
"There's Just Something About a Boy," will release this fall. I have two little boys and had to write something just for them as well.

Tell us your most rewarding experience since being published.
I have had many blessings since the books publication but the one that sticks out in mind the most would be from a reviewer who now uses the reoccurring phrase fromt the book as a special moment that she shares with her daughter each day. That was amazing to hear!

What was your favorite book when you were a child/teen?
The Giving Tree by Shell Silverstein. I still adore this book because the message it delivers is not JUST for kids, but for adults too.

If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be?
Well, Idaho is pretty beautiful but I would have to say San Luis Obispo, California. I have some pretty great memories of that place and it's simply gorgeous.

What is your favorite Quote?
This has changed throughout the years but I have to say that a verse I love the most is Jer 29:11

How do you react to a bad review?
I cry, throw a fit, slight temper tantrum, and the

2. Book Review: Mommy Whispers by Jenny Lee Sulpizio

Mommy Whispers is a keepsake children's book that depicts the special relationship between a mother and her daughter through each stage of their lives and ultimately, the power of prayer and faith in God through it all.

Like Robert Munsch's book I'll Love You Forever this book brought tears to my eyes. And like that book Mommy Whispers is a picture book that is likely to be appreciated by a parent more than by the child.

Perhaps it is just the stage I am at in life with my own mother having passed away and my children growing up so quickly right before my eyes. Mommy Whispers made me remember to stop and appreciate the gift that my children truly are.

At each stage of her daughter's life a loving mother whispers "You are God's gift to me, forever you will be". This is a beautifully done picture book that would make a great book to share with your mother or daughter.
