2. It's Raining Veggies...

The produce has started flying - so far lettuce, onion, garlic, celery, broccoli, tomatoes and yellow squash.  Of course, there's more to come...

A little touch added to the panel that wasn't in the original is some produce on the floor (garlic and onion in the background, a celery stalk in the foreground).  I have another change planned, but I won't spoil the surprise, now.

Also, the chef now has a complete mustache (I'm sure that will come as a great relief to everyone).

A stylin' "stache"

3. Big Mustache

Howdy! I have not been here in awhile, although I have been trying harder to make a point on participating and commenting on images...
Part of my new year's resolution is to do more drawings for fun.. and not just projects for clients. So, I started a daily musing gallery on my blog.

4. Mustaches For Kids–Final Stretch

The Mustaches for Kids donor drive ends on the 13th...and I'm just overwhelmed by the results. My personal donors have at this point raised over a thousand dollars for underfunded classrooms. One of them stipulated that their pledge was contingent on my promise to do this every year. So you're going to have to put up with this again next November.
Anyway, I would have felt remiss if I didn't make one last plea. The donor sidebar is on the right. After the weekend I'll post a full mustache retrospective, and then I'll stop talking about it for eleven months.
Thanks to past donors and to Ms. Melinda Millington, Mr. Phillip Hilliker, Ms. Reiko Nakajima, Katy Kelly, Jon Scieszka, Angus Yuen-Killick, Mr. Steven Malk, Mr. Matt Phelan, Mr. David Adamson, Dawn Murin, Mark Susson, and Alicia Neal.

5. Are You Man Enough?

I just finished working on a brand new comic. Click here to read it, I hope it makes you smile!

I was originally planning to not put this one on the internet, making it a “print only” thing, but I like giving stuff away for free too much. Anyways, I’ll still be printing this up as an 18 page mini comic sometime in the next week or two and will have it for sale at SPX, along with the print version of the comic I drew last month, The Secret Thoughts of Harold Lawrence Windcrampe.

7. The books “The Daring Book for Girls” and “The Dangerous Book for Boys”

are so clearly not about daredeviltry. They are about ineptitude.

10. My cable and electricity are back!

A brief storm on Wednesday knocked trees onto the power lines. A huge broken limb was left hanging in the branches over the driveway. So we hired a tree service.

A two-man team arrived at 8:30 a.m. I woke my teenage son and told him to come watch the man with the chainsaw hoist himself 70 feet in the air. My son said, “I can see that on YouTube,” and he went back to sleep.
