This little girl is called Popple and she likes snails and standing on her head.
Popple is a-d-o-r-a-b-l-e! I really like her. She would be such a great character. Very niceeeee Jess!
Thankyou Vanessa :)
Jess--Popple (love that name) is very, very cute. looks good--the figure sitting down has a little bit of a leg problem--the leg in front is too long (compare her size & legs to other figures); other than that, I think you've got a nice thing going with a great character!
Jess--I just looked again at her legs & I see that there are two legs, one on top of the other--it read at first as one leg! sorry about that--maybe a little value on the underneath leg to push the top leg forward...good job
How fun! I agree with Linda that Popple is such a fun name. My favorite picture is when she's jumping rope. And you've done well at keeping her looking like herself!
Popple has beautiful eyes and hair, Jess! She looks like a great character to work with, and you were able to keep her likeness throughout the sketches... good job indeed!
Very good consistency on Popple. Cute name, cute concept.
I agree with everyone.
I do have a couple of technical comments. The way you have the body twisted in the one with the ball looks a bit painful. When I am trying for an odd pose, I either squirm myself into the position in a full length mirror or get someone to pose for it and snap a picture. When working realistically, it's really important not to have your characters in awkward poses. The other comment is the girl has a neck in the larger image but none on the others. Even a chubby baby has a neck. I'd fix that minor detail.
She's too sweet!
