Dick Van Dyke has signed a memoir deal with Weinstein Books.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the nonfiction book, entitled Keep Moving: And Other Tips About Old Age, will be released on December 13, 2015. The publication date was chosen to coincide with the actor’s 90th birthday.
Editorial director Amanda Murray negotiated the deal with Trident literary agent Dan Strone. With this project, Van Dyke (pictured, via) will discuss “his approach to growing old.” He promises that he’s “not going to sugarcoat anything,” but his objective is “to assure people that there is a beautiful life waiting” during one’s golden years.

Country music star Billy Ray Cyrus will publish his memoir with Amazon Publishing in hardcover and eBook edition in spring 2013.
Trident Media CEO Dan Strone negotiated the deal alongside John Ferriter, Lo Bosworth and Stuart Dill from Octagon Entertainment. Strone also negotiated an $800,000 deal for Penny Marshall‘s memoir with Amazon.
Cyrus (pictured, via) had this statement in the release: “I learned early from The Book of Psalms that: ‘The Truth will be your shield and your buckle’. I’ve always loved that. You only get one chance to tell your life story. This is my chance to set the record straight. I realized that over the years that there have been untruths and misconceptions about me, my music, my life, my family and our dreams. I’m going to lay out the facts starting from August 25th, 1961 and work my way to the present, even if it stings a little.”

Movie star Debbie Reynolds has inked a deal to publish a tell-all memoir with HarperCollins. Publication is set for 2013.
Unsinkable will be her second book with the publisher, following 1988′s Debbie: My Life. Trident Media Group CEO Dan Strone negotiated the deal with senior vice president Lynn Grady. Executive editor Jennifer Brehl will edit.
Here’s more from the release: “At the end of her 1988 autobiography, Debbie: My Life (Morrow), Debbie Reynolds talks about finally finding love with her third husband, Richard Hamlett, calling him ‘brave, loyal and loving.’ Her marriage seemed like a great success until she discovered that Richard had his mistress stashed at the Stardust just down the street from Debbie’s own newly opened Las Vegas hotel. She then learned that he’d embezzled all the proceeds from her business, in addition to many other betrayals. When she confronted him, she barely escaped with her life. Former U.S. Senate candidate Christine O’Donnell has signed a book deal with St. Martin’s Press. Publication is planned for August 2011.
Trident Media Group CEO Dan Strone negotiated the deal with St. Martin’s publisher Matthew Shear. The book will “embody O’Donnell’s identification with America’s frustrations and concerns with the current political climate.” It will also explore how she beat a veteran politician in the 2010 U.S. Republican primary in Delaware, earning the support of Tea Party members and plenty of media attention.
O’Donnell had this statement: “The 2010 midterm elections were just the beginning—the first rumblings of a revolution that has not fully erupted. I plan on making my book one of the revolution’s catalysts.”
