1. Author Jennifer E. Smith – This Creative Life ep 43

Another podcast already? What? It’s true! I wanted to get one more episode in the can before I took off for some travel, and though I considered making it a scheduled post in a week or so I thought–why withhold? We all like instant gratification, so in that spirit I offer this conversation with Jennifer E. Smith hot off the heels of ep 42 with Varian Johnson.

Jen has very recently made the transition from being a published author with a day job to writing full time. She reports that so far “my word count is low but my spirits are high.” I remember that feeling! We talk schedules and routines, how her past as an editor affects her present as a writer, and what to do with a dreaded amazing editorial letter.
