1. Let It Be...

…this book.
I learned about Katie Davis through international adoption blogs while waiting to bring one of our daughters home from China.  Katie was well into her first year or so in Uganda when I started reading, but I didn’t miss a word she wrote.  Her blog was so captivating, I backed up to her first post and read forward from there.  Luckily, for you, all of her story is now in a book.
The Bible states true religion is, "...to look after orphans and widows in their distress..."  James 1:27.  This 21 year old doesn’t just write about it, she lives it.  I could write more about her ministry, her 13 daughters, and the lives of countless others that are being changed, but it's much better to hear it from her.  Her latest blog post is here.

If you only can manage to read one book this year:

Let it be this one.
Let it change the way you live.
I was not given Kisses From Katie to review.  I bought my own book…and two others to give away.  :)
