1. My first entry

It's the middle of summer and what a glorious time of the year. July 19th marks my first blogging entry. So, here goes. I'm just back from a wonderful two week vacation at the beach and I'm recharged to plunge into writing the sequel to my first novel, Grace and The Ice Prince. I finished the outline and have written the first few chapters and now I'm full steam ahead after mulling over countless ideas while basking in the sun. Amazing how a few idle hours can spark one's imagination. I managed to sort the good ideas from the bad (well, not that bad, just a bit indulgent). Now that all the laundry has been done, it's time to boot up the laptop and write, write, write! For all of you out there who are passionate about writing, this first step can be tough to take. But once taken it is an exhilarating experience even when some moments seem daunting. It's a process. Not something to be rushed rather something to savour. Word by every word.
