1. Pass the Pink Penguins

Hi all! I don't want to forget to tell others about the pass the pink penguin(s)/go pink campaign for breast cancer awareness for this month. I created the above "pass it on" badge as a tribute to dear friends who have lost loved ones to the disease. I posted more info on my site, if you'd like to take a look and participate in the awareness campaign. Thank you!

2. Personal News

October is Breast Cancer Awareness week, and today I found out that my mum (who had a brain tumour removed last year) has been diagnosed with DCIS (Ductal Carcinoma In Situ). She'll be going into hospital for an operation to remove it on November 15 - an overnight stay only.
