The protesters march

Posted on ยป Saturday, March 19, 2011

The protesters march

On the land of two seas

They want someone to

Listen to their pleas;

They march to Riffa

They march to Pearl “Square”,

They walk forth

Without a care;

They walk with flags

They walk with knives,

Not caring that they

Are disrupting lives;

They march to BFH

To set up their camps,

But do they know how

Many businesses they damp?

They say they don’t

Want discrimination,

But don’t they realise

They are destroying the nation;

Do they not realise the

Only way forward is dialogue,

Without which our future

Is as bleak as fog.

Through all these protests

What do they gain?

Anything but

A peaceful Bahrain!
