I read and reviewed three Ramona books this week. (I also reviewed an autobiography by Beverly Cleary.) If I had to choose between the three, it would be tough, but I'd probably go for Ramona the Pest. Maybe. Or else Ramona the Brave. How do I choose between the worm engagement ring and guts, guts, guts?!
I'd definitely recommend Seraphina as well this week.

Plenty of genre fiction reviewed this week.
For science fiction lovers, I recommend Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel. I did enjoy it very much. I'm not sure I loved, loved, loved it. Only time will prove that one way or the other. I personally still love Worthing Saga more. But that could be because I've reread it four or five times!
Brave New World was a good read. I didn't "love" it. But I'm so glad I read it. If you enjoyed
Fahrenheit 451 or
The Giver, you should definitely seek this one out.
I would definitely recommend Erle Stanley Gardner's The Case of the Velvet Claws. This is the first Perry Mason mystery. It was just a fun read from start to finish.

Sleeping Cinderella and Other Princess Mix-Ups is a great choice to share with little ones that love to play princess. If you've got a little one who loves all things princess. Then this one is just a fun choice to share together. I really enjoyed the illustrations. For the record, this one will be eligible for next year's Cybils.
The Perfect Place is a great Middle Grade novel. I loved Treasure. I loved Great Aunt Grace. If you enjoy coming-of-age stories, this one is a great choice. For the record, this one will be eligible for next year's Cybils.
