I owe, I owe, so off to work I go. We have a mortgage and the hubby would like to retire sometime before he has too, so I just started working full time again, after being part-time for a little over a year. Which means I will have to become more creative in how I allocate time for creativity. O_o Not that I was wonderful at it before, but as they say necessity is the mother of invention. For me right now there are more pros than cons in having a day job. Financial security is one of the biggies, another is that I enjoy the work, and the people I work with. Major pluses! And as an unexpected side effect, I think it has also made me a little clairvoyant! I think I see one of the latest kick-ass Macs and a Wacom Cintiq in my furture, possibly even two! The 21ux for the desktop and the 12wx for the airbook. Ah yes... it's becoming clearer mmm hmmm. Anyway, I've been making slow progress on my little fae piece and I will hopefully one fine day actually be able to share it when it's finished. In the meantime here is another in progress shot. Gotta go, it's a work night.

Your new piece is looking nice! Have fun at work! I've been avoiding working full-time myself, but it too might be inevitable!
Hi Della, this looks lovely and I look forward to seeing your finished piece. Thank you for your comment on my latest post. I've been in kind of a slump lately and trying to wake myself out of it.
I hope you get to finish this whimsical piece. I can't wait to see it complete. Let's hope that f/t job doesn't put a stop to your art.
Oh and I like your P.S. on the side of your blog about digital art - you're so right! It is another art medium that takes just as much talent and skill as any traditional art medium.
I’m getting a little clairvoyant myself! I see an absolutely beautiful fae piece in your future! Really, this work looks to be amazing... can’t wait to se it finished Della. Liking the people you work with....realy HELPS :o) God bless!
