It’s a little late in the season, but the coffee trees outside my kitchen window are blooming. Surprising that the morning cup of coffee that gets me going starts out so beautifully, isn’t it? © paradisefound for Paradise Found, 2007. | Permalink | 4 comments Add to del.icio.us Search blogs linking this post with Technorati Want more [...]

I can honestly say I have never seen a coffee plant–and I love plants!
Thanks for the photo–I plan to look at it until sticks in my mind LOL As I sip my coffee here
Isn’t surprising to me, actually. Coffee is, after all, a beautiful thing. It’s the LACK of coffee that isn’t so beautiful! haha!
How lovely! To ask a rather naive question, does the coffee plant grow wild?
Larramie, while there are some places that coffee grows wild (mostly on the wetter side of the island), these are cultivated. All along the Kona coast there are small coffee plantations, most of which cover only an acre or two.
Shelly, that is very true. Me without coffee = very ugly indeed.
Shawna, I’ll try to remember my camera next time I go near the coffee farms so I can post images of the ripe coffee beans. That will be another nice image for you!
