For centuries the government has found its way into nearly every part of our lives. Whether it is in the banking industry to the very way we live our lives. So what is it that is on my mind and why am I writing this blog about the government, if this is not something new? Let’s examine that for a moment.

For those that have not taken notice what so ever and for those that have but choose to just go with the flow, I have words of wisdom for you. Recently the changes have been subtle enough that most do not take notice to them. Such as the huge bail outs given by the very people that we elected into office to speak for us. What am I talking about you ask? If you have not noticed, the government has the power to give and take without giving notice. They have the overwhelming desire for to have power if you want to see it that way. During the reign of the last seven presidents, it took some research to find it all, but if you look back in time, you will notice a subtle but distinct way to take over the so-called government of “we the people” to fit the wants of the one in power. Regardless of what “we the people” say to our elected representatives, it has become all too obvious that they are not listening to us nor will they? Almost as if there is a pre-programmed script put in place before they enter the level of office they reach. The infamous statement “the people don’t know what the hell they want”, is so far from the truth that “we the people” have come to accept it as reality. Thus “going with the flow.” I for one choose not to follow this way of life and will fight all the way to my grave. As a five time combat veteran of five different wars from 1985-2005, before becoming a disabled veteran, I have found that our government still refuses to listen to its people. “The peasants” if you will. Later in this blog I will tell you a great secret that many refuse to try because it is easy to do and goes against all that our government is doing to us.

Let’s talk about jobs for a minute. Have you ever noticed, that even if you try to buy local and support the local community, the government seems to step in and change the way that business operates, by adding a new law that literally takes that business to a level that makes them go out of business? Well I have. Why is this? Let’s examine that.

It’s a viscous cycle that starts in the head of the person that has an idea to create jobs within that community. The person takes their plans to a service that is run secretly by the government called the Small Business Administration. They ask for everything you have in reference to your idea and they keep a copy of that information. I witnessed this first hand in Copperas Cove, Texas, when I wanted to start a business that was a party store selling party goods. Not long after I took my documents to the bank for funding, I scanned the neighborhood for a great store front property and took explicit notice to a newly opened Party Supply Store that was not there before. My wife and I walked into the store to see the store sporting the exact items I had listed in my business plan. Moreover, the exact layout was to the letter. What was even more exciting was the person I took note to when we walked into the store, who ever so quickly ran to the back room as that person noticed me. I wanted to see if I was right about what I was seeing, so I challenged the clerk to a question that only the owner would be able to answer. When the clerk could not answer that question, she quickly went to the back of the store and called the owner out from the back. Appearing before me was the very family member, I noticed in the SBA Copperas Cove, Texas office. It just so happened to have been the son of the SBA counselor that took my file and looked it over before sending me to the bank for funding.
