Ah Freedom, are we truly free? Let’s take a good look at you and me, walking five
hundred steps back-in time. No need to rewind, just click and find. Wow it’s the World
Wide Web, look at that Indian, he’s dead! Butchered to save a buck, damn what shitty
luck. Is that Columbus? Is that the pilgrims breaking bread? Oh no it’s a couple of skin
heads conforming in a den. Freedom, you say, I say, I have, but do I? Do we? Do you?
To some degree, I do believe. We all wake up and put on that shoe, that uniform, whether
its high dollar or just a regular shirt with a collar and march proud as we all got to work
for that mighty dollar Diplomacy, democracy, what hypocrisy! I can’t truly stand and say,
hey! Mr. Server American Might. Now… Now… Uncle S.A.M. that’s not right! Why do
you try and kill Cadafi in the Night? I can’t stand at the door of the “man” and demand
the truth, ah, come on what’s the use, the Binladin’s and the Bushes are in kuhoots, but
don’t be spooked, now’s the time to take a stand in your life, do what’s right. One thing is
for sure; tonight I’ll dream and fight, carry on with my pen and write sweet nothings till
the end. So are we free? Indeed! But only in our minds may we truly and completely be.
Freedom is not given, but earned. We must create our own with in. -Peace
