1. Inspire the Fire



SCBWI's Eastern PA chapter is looking for imagery for the Pocono Mountain Illustration Retreat. The theme was "Inspire the Fire", and while I had some other ideas, I ended up with this little Greek guy. It might not directly involve illustration or what have you, but I thought I'd try to do something a little outside the box. And hey, if it's not picked, I have a nice little spot here. I had fun doing this, and I think I'll work up a bunch of similar black and white spots.


I also sent this in, though in retrospect I didn't feel like it was particularly inspiring, or exciting for that matter. Regardless, I had fun with it.
