1. It's been a quiet week . . . NOT!

This past week I got to experience Spring Break like a lot of other people.  On the up side I had a pretty good week with my kids (ages 11, 9 &6).  I made a really special effort to get them out and about, in addition to going places with them.  Maybe part of it is due to our big Spring Break last year (we went to Cancun and it was a great trip!).

The down side is the lack of writing time.  I'm hoping that since school starts on Monday I can get back into the swing of things.  I'd also like to get myself into a routine of writing at least an hour a day, even if it's at home.  Up to this point I've been leaving the house because there are too many distractions.  I think it's time for me to buck up and accept the fact that I need to do it regardless of where I am.

I'll get to that point . . . but it'll take time.  :)
