One Kids' Fantasy Author's Adventure
1. Plan your 2015-2016 School Curriculum Now!

Hi! P. J. Hoover here, and as the 2014-2015 school year winds down (and I try to figure out how I will keep my kids entertained all summer!), I wanted to share with you all some amazing, free curriculum tools available to educators for use with Tut: The Story of My Immortal Life.

***

For starters, Tut: The Story of My Immortal Life was chosen for the Spirit of Texas Middle School Reading List, and the librarians behind this committee have developed fantasticcurriculum aligned to state standards that will please educators and also have the kids begging for more. After all, what kid doesn't want to participate in the Egyptian Olympics?!?!

 ***

In addition, a CCSS Aligned Tut Book Trailer Guide including a discussion and activity guide is available. Having students create book trailers is a fantastic way to blend reading and technology.

Other fun curriculum activities centered around Tut: The Story of My Immortal Life include:

For those considering or preparing for an author visit with me, there is an Author Website Scavenger Hunt available on my website. Kids can research me and find out how fast I can solve a Rubik's Cube!

In addition, a CCSS Aligned Analysis and Post-Presentation Discussion and Writing Lesson Guide is available for my author presentations.

All curriculum, including curriculum for Solstice and my other books can be found on my website on my curriculum page
