My 3-year-old daughter is currently an Hervé Tullet fan, but not in the sense you might think. It’s not Press Here that strikes her fancy (though she enjoys it well enough) but his board books with Phaidon. Who knew? Now there’s an exhibit up over in Brooklyn I need to take her to.

BACKGROUND: Hervé Tullet’s playful style and unique use of color have earned his children’s books a spot on the best-seller list for more than 150 weeks, and have garnered him acclaim across the globe. The release of Mr. Tullet’s new book, “Mix it Up” will accompany the only exhibition of his work in the United States this year— to be shown from October 2, 2014 through February 1, 2015 in Brooklyn Public Library’s Central Library.Hervé Tullet’s exhibition is sponsored by Handprint Books and Chronicle Books.
