I had the pleasure of reading Michelle Kay Malsbury’s new book “The Swindler.” The book is a well written narrative of what the culture of some young ambitious people are about. It took me back a few years to a time when I was one of those New York Fifth Avenue hot shots groping my way up the corporate ladder one subordinate at a time. Those on the way up never realize there’s always the last rung on the ladder then it’s all down hill. The Swindler is a classic example of arrogance greed and sex dominating an up and coming firm in any field of endeavor. There were times when I saw my former self peeking out from between the lines. The Swindler could very well be a hand book for a new breed of corporate climbers on their way up.
