1. March On

This has been a Dickensian sort of week…the best of times and the worst of times.  On the positive side, we launched a new website and posted our first e-book, which is a reprint of Night Songs, a book of mine that has been out of print for some time.  The illustrations from this book were shown at the Society of Illustrator’s Show in 1993 and are very lovely, if I do say so myself. I have to thank my son’s girlfriend for designing and getting the site in working order. And my sons for getting the book formatted, translated into Spanish, and posted on Amazon. On the negative, very sad side, I learned of the death of Illustrator, Don Vanderbeek, who illustrated The Elephant at the Waldorf, published by BridgeWater Books.  Don was a nice man and a talented illustrator.  I hope he is dancing with the angels in God’s golden ballroom.
