'Before, I Could Draw' is an exhibition based on re-interpreting our childhood drawings, where both versions will be displayed side by side! It's a brilliant idea for an exhibition and I'm really excited to be taking part. There's some serious talent on board!
Here is my piece, a Film Noir re-interpretation of a drawing of a cuddly Mole I drew when I was four. Me and my Mum made him together from a kit, as well as a bat, and I developed this into a new Poster design for the classic Film Noir 'The Maltese Falcon' ('The 'Moletese' Falcon') I chose my Mole drawing because the text I wrote describing him made me chuckle, and I have fond memories of the cuddly toys we made together.
The exhibition opens this Friday at 2022NQ and runs until Tuesday the 7th Dec. It is curated by JAMWAH!
