The Estella Society is reading The Historian by by Elizabeth Kostova. I have a copy of the book somewhere within my other books and going to dust it for this event.

It’s getting to be that time again. Shorter days, rattling leaves, a breeze in the treetops. OK, maybe everywhere except Texas. It’s just hot and miserable here. BUT, it is almost RIP time! This year is the 8th annual RIP event, hosted by Carl of Stainless Steel Droppings, and The Estella Society is thrilled to bring you The Historian Readalong!We will begin reading The Historian, by Elizabeth Kostova, on September 1st and read through October 14th, because The Historian is an especially chunky monkey at 700ish pages. You might want to download the e-book so as not to hurt your wrists.We’ll do a midway check-in on Monday, September 23rd with discussion questions that cover material through chapter 40, and we’ll have a wrap-up linky at the finish line!
