1. Showcasing Amy Riche

Even though I haven't read her book yet, Amy Riche is a very talented writer and author. Today I am showcasing her and her book Timeless. You should really check her out, because she is a wonderful writer.

Here is a little interview that I did with her. She's going to tell you about herself and her work!!
I am always writing. I carry a notebook and pen with me at all times because you just never know when an idea will hit you. I also love the show “Doctor Who”; which led to my fascination with time travel. I think my love for vampires began in seventh grade after watching “Interview With A Vampire”. “Timeless“ the debut novel from the Immortal Love” series combines these two things ad introduces the Letrell Brothers. They weren’t always six brothers. In seventh grade there was just two of  them but through the years I became invested in this family and watched them grow as their stories were told.
I finally got serious about writing when 11 months of nursing school revealed that I had a phobia of needles. Nursing was just never going to be my thing. I started working as a housekeeper at a very small nursing home and on my breaks at work “Timeless” began to take shape. It took me almost three years to actually complete this book but only because I often stopped working on it when another idea came to me.
As far as this series goes, I like Claudia the best. It is probably because I have “known” her the longest, she was one of the first that I began writing about in seventh grade English class. She isn’t mentioned a lot in this first book, but her story will continue. In fact I am writing five more books in the Immortal Love Series, each one focusing on one of the brothers. The second one is about Marcus and of course Claudia.
My vampires don’t sparkle and they have a heartbeat. They have such a strong bond with each other. They do follow some of the norms for vampire legends. They run really fast, heal, can read minds, don’t age. They can go out in the sun though. The Letrells answer to the one who made them, they have to obey him.
Music isn’t really my thing. I like to listen to music but I find that good music distracts me, so I keep it off while I write. Besides, I have three kids so there is always plenty of noise. I like noise, the silence makes my ears ring and I can’t concentrate, so in the rare moments of quiet in my house I just flip on some reruns of Doctor Who and write to that background noise.
When I started writing this book, it was just because I liked Eva and I wanted to write her stories down, but then they grew into a whole book. I have learned so much along the way of getting this book published. I didn’t even know how many words were in a book before and I never typed out anything. I still write in my notebooks first and then type. It may take longer but my ideas seem to flow better if they first pass through a nice black ink pen. There are so many more stories to tell, and not just with the Letrell brothers either. I can say without reserve that I most definitely like writing so much better than nursing!

About Timeless:

After the earth is crippled by the asteroid Jewell, vampires come to the aid of the survivors. Some only want to help, others merely want to protect their way of life. And some simply have to be stopped.

Eva was created for one purpose, to kill notorious vampire Dominick Letrell. Neleh has devised a plan that cannot fail; travel back in time to when Dominick was his weakest and attack him there. Along with the help of David, the most intelligent vampire alive, the plan is set in motion. But then suddenly everything goes wrong and Eva is trapped in the past with no memory of why or how she got there. What happens when all the rules change?

Timeless is a story of betrayals and secrets and a love that will change everything.
