1. Reasons To Teach Your Son About Wearing Ties – Lauren Lundry

In today’s madcap, hurry up and get there, fast paced world, learning how to tie a tie and even wearing a tie is a lost art. There are very few functions that even require a man to wear a tie anymore, so how do you teach your young son the importance of wearing a tie, and why should you even care? Here we will discuss whey every young boy should be taught the importance of wearing a tie, how to tie his own tie, and why it can be a very big boost to his self-esteem when he ventures out into the real world.

If you think back to your own childhood you can probably conjure up memories of your dad rushing out of the house in the morning, knotting his tie as he went, or even memories of the elegant suits, and ties, he would often wear when he and your mom went out at night. If your dad taught you the importance of wearing a tie to certain occasions, then shouldn’t you instill the same traditions into your young son?

Research shows that people who dress for success achieve success, and nothing can make a young man feel like he can conquer the world better than a nice crisp suit and tie as he steps into an interview to get into the top school he has longed to get into, or as he walks into his first day at the law firm he was just hired to work for.

This process starts at home when he is watching you put on your tie in the morning; taking the time to show your son how to tie his own little necktie can go a long way towards preparing him for the future. Besides there is nothing cuter than a little boy in a neck tie, or nothing more handsome than a young man in a necktie going on his first date.

If you want your child to have high self-esteem of course, teaching him how to tie his own necktie isn’t the only thing you have to do as a parent, but it’s a great start. He will know that if he dresses for success in his best suit and tie, then he is more apt to achieve success, realize his dreams, and go farther than he would if he went for a job interview in jeans and a tee-shirt.

Many things in life depend on a first impression, teach your young son to make that first impression dressed for success and he will go far in life, and be well-dressed while he is doing it. There is a book available online called “Tie a Tie with the Rabbit and the Fox,” that is a perfect way to teach your young son the importance of a tie. The book is available in English, Spanish, or TagalogImage. Order your copy today!
