BookBuzzr Author Interviews, Book-Marketing and Promotion Tips and More!
1. The Ten Commandments of Book Marketing

Three years ago, we wrote a blog series titled ‘The Seven Book Marketing Mistakes that Authors Make‘. Since then, thousands of other authors have joined the BookBuzzr community and we’ve had a rich opportunity to learn from the experiences of these authors. Based on what we’ve learned we’ve decided to start a new series of blog posts titled - The Ten Commandments of Book Marketing.

These commandments are:

1. Know your reader

2. Know your positioning

3. Have a book worthy of marketing

4. Commit sufficient resources

5. Perform the right actions at the right time

6. Get sufficient reviews

7. Experiment to find what works

8. Practice generosity

9. Practice the Pareto principle

10. Show up. Every. Day.

Over the next few weeks we will be covering each of these principles in greater detail. Applying them diligently will help you get results better than 99% of the other authors in your genre. Check back tomorrow to see the first of these rules explained.
