1. Exploring Patterns!

Hello my friends!
I can't believe it's already 2012 - time definitely flies when you're creating art! :-) This is my newest painting - "Waters of Joy," and it's based on the verse Isaiah 12:3 - "With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation." Daisies symbolize loyal love and purity, so it seemed to make a harmonious composition - the backdrop is an intricately-patterned Indian scarf that a sweet little student gave to me.
