1. Road Trip to Florida!

Took a trip to Florida to promote my published children's book, Trunkels, see my family... ok...maybe I just went for the seafood. You caught me.  So, while I was eating seafood gumbo, fried shrimp, and crab salad at the annual Florida Sea Food Festival in Apalachicola, I did get to do a book signing at a nice little bookstore called Downtown Books.
ME !!! My first in-store book signing!  At Downtown Books in Apalachicola, FL  My original paintings are displayed in the background.  Dale, the store owner, made me feel VERY important.

An adorable Florida fan named C. J. Smith!

I also had a FABULOUS interactive reading at my old school, Maclay, in Tallahasee, FL.  The children were fabulous participants.  Hope to get up some pictures from the school!  I saw someone taking pictures.
