Hear! Hear! My first home in the US was New Jersey! I still have family and friends there and I have not seen a Facebook update from them. I only hear by phone. They are alright, working long hours at the hospitals.

Yup, an endless supply of hugs. Lots of friends and family in that area.

I love drawing notes, paper, and all those stationery type things! And I agree with you, copying handwriting is tough, but it's fun at the same time, especially for a typography nut like me. I love all your drawings, especially the ones with notes, so much fun to look at!

Well I guess the only time I tried to copy someone's hand writing, was when i had a terrible grade and wanted to write as my dad and sign the grading paper... total fail of course.

love the matting on the pic, really picks up the colors of the artwork. don't particularly like the frame though, it's kind of heavy for the subject matter. really like Ryan's pic in the kitchen. don't usually like monochromatic, but it really works here. how fun to see your artwork, Andrea, when it's in someone else's home, eh?

I've learnt over recent years that the framing and mounting of artwork can change everything but I'm really struggling to find a good picture framer in my area who can do it for me. I think I'm going to bully hubby into learning so he can do it for me. Your work looks great btw really fun and joyful
