1. MMGM Links (9/6/15)

STILL trying to reach The End of LET THE WIND RISE (wrapping up a trilogy is hard!). But here's an attempt at this week's MMGM links--oh, but before we get to that, I wanted to make sure you guys knew that the EVERBLAZE ebook is on sale for $1.99. Yes--ITS TRUE!

And, just to make it even easier for you guys to take advantage, here's some handy dandy links:

Okay--back to the MMGM links!
- Rosi Hollinbeck is reviwing--and GIVING AWAY--WATER RUNS THROUG THIS BOOK. Click HERE for details.
- Claire Caterer has a rundown of some of the most promising middle grade books coming out this week. Click HERE to see what they are.
- Cindy at Cindy Reads A Lot is spotlighting WALK SOFTLY, RACHEL. Click HERE to check it out.
- Dorine White is conjuring up some love for THE BROKEN SPELL. Click HERE to read her review.
- Jess at the Reading Nook has A TICKET TO INDIA. Click HERE to see what she thought.
- Suzanne Warr is cheering for KENNY AND THE DRAGON. Click HERE to see why.
- Greg Pattridge is sharing CONFESSIONS OF AN IMAGINARY FRIEND--with a GIVEAWAY. Click HERE for details.
- Joanne Fritz always has an MMGM for you. Click HERE to see what she's talking about this week.
- Karen Yingling also always has some awesome MMGM recommendations for you. Click HERE to which ones she picked this time!
- The Mundie Moms are always huge supporters of middle grade. Click HERE for their Mundie Kids site.

If you would like to join in the MMGM fun, all you have to do is blog about a middle grade book you love on a Monday (contests, author interviews and whatnot also count--but are most definitely not required) and email me the title of the book you're featuring and a link to your blog at SWMessenger (at) hotmail (dot) com. (Make sure you put MMGM or Marvelous Middle Grade Monday in the subject line so it gets sorted accurately--and please don't forget to say what book you're featuring) You MUST email me your link by Sunday evening in order to be included in the list of links for the coming Monday. (usually before 11pm PST is safe--but if I'm traveling it can vary. When in doubt, send early!) (Also make sure the post you send me is a new post, not one from earlier in the week. I try to keep the content fresh)

If you miss the cutoff, you are welcome to add your link in the comments on this post so people can find you, but I will not have time to update the post. Same goes for typos/errors on my part. I do my best to build the links correctly, but sometimes deadline-brain gets the best of me, and I'm sorry if it does. For those wondering why I don't use a Linky-widget instead, it's a simple matter of internet safety. The only way I can ensure that all the links lead to safe, appropriate places for someone of any age is if I build them myself. It's not a perfect system, but it allows me to keep better control.

Thank you so much for being a part of this awesome meme, and spreading the middle grade love!

*Please note: these posts are not a reflection of my own opinions on the books featured. Each blogger is responsible for their own MMGM content and I do not pre-screen reviews ahead of time, nor do I control what books they choose. I simply assemble the list based on the links that are emailed to me.

2. The EVERBLAZE paperback release giveaway!

They're here! They're here!

THE SHINY EVERBLAZE PAPERBACKS ARE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And I know a lot of you already bought the shiny hardcovers. (if you did--THANK YOU SO MUCH! *tacklehugs*)

But I still get crazy excited when my books finally release in paperback, because they're so much more affordable, and I know for so many families (including mine, when I was a kid) that makes a HUGE difference. I've heard from so many readers who've been waiting for the paperback before they can read (it's why I try to be so vigilant about spoilers) so I'm super excited they'll finally be able to.

Plus, even if you DO own a hardcover--there's something extra special in the paperbacks you might be excited to see:

Why yes, yes that IS the first chapter of NEVERSEEN!!!!

So I think this calls for a giveaway. After all, the hardcover readers shouldn't be the only ones who get some fun extra goodies.  So here's how this works:

If you pre-ordered the paperback version of EVERBLAZE any time before August 4, 2015--OR if you purchase a paperback copy between now and August 11, 2015--fill out the form at the bottom of this post by 11:59pm pacific time on August 11, 2015, and I will send you these:

(in case you can't tell, that's a signed bookplate and a character art print postcard--which has all four covers on the back)

In addition to that, five random winners will also get one of these exclusive Black Swan mirrors:

If you buy more than one copy of the paperback, you can definitely get more than one set of swag. Just make sure you fill out the form separately for each copy, so I know how many to send you.

And please note, this giveaway is only available for people who buy the paperback during the designated time period. (If you've bought the hardcover or ebook, I've already done giveaways for those--sorry if you missed them!) Also: no proof of purchase is required. I like to keep my contests on the honor system, so if you say you bought it, I trust you. But remember: every time you lie, Iggy has to miss a meal, and do you really want an angry imp coming after you????

International entries also totally count. I will mail swag anywhere you live. But this is only for a very limited time, so don't miss your chance.  And don't forget to fill out the form* (you must fill out the form in order to get your swag).

And... I think that pretty much covers everything. But if I missed something, ask in the comments. Otherwise here's the form you need to fill out: (and if you can't access the form for some reason, you can find it HERE).

Ready?

....

Go!

*You must be 13 or older in order to fill out this form. If you're not, please have your parent or guardian fill it out for you.

3. The EVERBLAZE Superfan Giveaway!!!

IT'S HERE, IT'S HERE--the giveaway you've alllllllllllllllllll been asking me for. The time I give away THESE:

In case you can't tell, those are six (yes, SIX) signed hardcovers of EVERBLAZE, all featuring original black swan drawings done by me. Which means there will be SIX winners who will get one, (and yes the books can be signed and personalized if you would like)

Since these are very special, very time consuming prizes for me to make, I want to make sure they go to true fans of the series. So like I've done in the past, I'm going to make you guys put in a *little* extra work to enter--but I've still done my best to also keep it as simple as possible. AND, the advantage to this is, if you really really really want one, there are a lot of ways for you to get a TON of entries and increase your chances of winning.

So here's how this works.

To enter, you MUST complete these two simple steps.

STEP NUMBER ONE:

You must either:

  • Post a review of EVERBLAZE on amazon / goodreads / B&N / youtube / your blog or website / ANYWHERE ELSE YOU POST YOUR REVIEWS. And no, this doesn't mean you have to write a glowing, five star review (though of course you are WELCOME to). All that matters is an honest review.
  • Tweet / Instagram / FB / tumblr / pinterest / google+ / or ANY OTHER WAY YOU ATTACK THE INTERNETS with a photo of EVERBLAZE somewhere in the wild (could be your own personal copy in your hands at home, or a shiny copy on display in a store or library--doesn't matter to me. And if the store you go to is sold out, you can always request they bring in another copy. In fact, I would love you FOREVER for doing that because it helps get books back on the shelf faster!)*
  • Tweet / Instagram / FB / tumblr / pinterest / google+ / ANY OTHER WAY YOU ATTACK THE INTERNETS with your own KEEPER series fan art (Anything goes here--feel free to be as creative as you want. You can post drawings, quotes, crafts. baked goods, anything you dream up.)*
You only have to do one--though you are welcome to do as many as you want. I'll reward you with an extra entry for everything you do (and every social media platform you post it on--each one counts for an extra entry). The only requirement is that it must be NEW. If you've posted fan art, photos of the book, or reviews in the past--thank you! But if you want it to count for the contest you'll need to do something new during the contest time period (December 3-14, 2014).

*feel free to tag me in any of these things, to make doubly sure I see them.

Once you've done whatever you'd like to from the list above, you'll need to let me know what you did so I can count your entries accordingly. Which brings me to:

STEP NUMBER TWO:
  • You MUST fill out the form at the bottom of this post, along with links to anywhere you posted the pictures/reviews. Form must be filled out by 11:59 pm pacific on Sunday, December 14, 2014

Step two is an absolutely essential step, because it's the only way I will see your entry. So don't forget to fill out the form. And International entries ARE accepted.

Winners won't be posted anywhere, nor will they be contacted prior to mailing. You'll know you're a winner when your prize shows up. So triple check to make sure you enter your mailing address correctly because it'd be a shame for your prize to get lost in the mail.

I'm pretty sure that's everything, but if I missed something you are welcome to ask in the comments.

Annnnnnnnnnnnnd--here's the form. (if it doesn't load for some reason, go HERE)

4. Team KEEPER Reboot!

★ ★  ★ ★  ★ ★  ★ ★  ★ ★  ★ ★  ★ ★  ★ ★  ★ ★  ★ ★  ★ ★ ★ ★

I know a lot of you still use the Team KEEPER Continued page, and the Team Keeper Continues Again page--and that's totally fine! Those pages still exist--and you can still comment on them as much as you'd like!

But I know there are a LOT of comments to wade through on there, so since we have a new book out in the world (WOO--EVERBLAZE!!!) I thought it might be a good time to give you guys a fresh new place for discussions. And while I was at it, I added a few new fun things, like some additional character art, two new teams, and the EVERBLAZE playlist!

Scroll down for all the fun. And remember, you're welcome to comment as much as you'd like. There are only two rules for your comments:

  1. Be nice, kind, and positive
  2. Please avoid including spoilers

And now--THE NEW TEAMS. And yes, for many of you, your team choices are all about the shipping--which is *always* an awesome reason (we're huge fans of watching the Team Fitz, Team Dex, and Team Keefe debates around here!!!). But that's not the *only* reason you can choose a team.

Teams can also be picked for your favorite characters and creatures, or because of who you are and what you relate to. Basically, there's no wrong reason for choosing a team. And if you're having trouble deciding, here's a few facts that might help you make up your mind:

Ever feel like you don't belong? Then you look no further--you belong with Team Sophie! You may not always have the answers, but you're brave and smart, and if you trust yourself, you can handle anything. And as for who holds your heart? Only time will tell how you decide . . .

Ever feel like the underdog? Then welcome to Team Dex! You may have people constantly underestimating you, but you'll prove them all wrong someday. And while you may be the ultimate BFF, you're hoping to break out of the "friend zone" eventually. (you might have pretty great dimples, too . . . )

Ever caused a mess of trouble--and loved every second of it? Then you definitely belong with Team Keefe!  Jokes and pranks are the highlight of your week--but that doesn't mean you can't be serious when you need to be. In fact, you care very deeply about . . . well, maybe you're not ready to admit *who* yet. But you're having fun driving the girls crazy in the meantime!

Ever feel pressure to be who everyone expects you to be? Then Team Fitz is the place for you ! You have the looks, the talent, and the family everybody envies--but that doesn't mean you do everything perfectly. And sometimes you can be a little oblivious when it comes to other people's feelings. But you'll hopefully figure it all out--eventually. . .

Ever made a mistake and had to work to set it right? Team Biana knows how you feel! You may sometimes say or do the wrong thing, but it's only because you're fiercely protective of the ones you care about. And once you make a true friend, you're friends for life. You're also the best person to ask when it comes to style--but there's so much more to you than you're stunning looks. You're brave, smart, and incredibly talented. And the world hasn't seen anything yet!

Ever feel like no one understands you? Then find lots of people you can relate to on Team Iggy! You may be small and good at making a mess of things--but you always know when someone needs you. And you're happy to provide them with a cuddle, a purr, or a nose-full of toxic breath--whatever they need. And hey, you can rock every crazy fur color there is!

Ever feel like you're all alone? Then you'll find lots of friends with Team Silveny--plus more sparkles than anyone could ever need! You're special and one-of-a-kind and extremely loyal and caring. And no one can deny you have great taste in friends--even if they give you the craziest nicknames.

Ever found that doing the wrong thing can sometimes be right? Then you belong with Team Black Swan! Some may think of you as a rebel, but really you're just seeing the world differently. And you're not afraid to bend or break a few rules--so long as it's to help others.

Got your team?
Then grab your avatar:

5. Welcome to the world, EVERBLAZE!!!

I can't believe it's finally here--EVERBLAZE's launch date!! The day I hand my beautiful book baby over to you guys...

...and hope you love it as much as I do. And I cannot thank you enough for all your excitement and support leading up to this day!

((Team KEEPER Group Hug))

I can't wait for you to see where Sophie's journey takes her. And I hope you laugh and cry and stay up too late, and come up with all kinds of crazy theories about what will happen next, because that means I did my job right.

I know many of you will read quick (in fact, some of you got your copies a couple of days early and already finished--which is extra amazing since this book is more than 600 pages long). And I KNOW that means you're going to immediately want book 4, and obviously you'll have to wait a bit (or, um... a year. *cue all the wailing*). But I promise book 4 will be worth it--I'm hard at work making it the best it can be. And in the meantime, you have EVERBLAZE to read again! (after all, it's a 600 page book, surely you missed a few details!) :)

If you've been following me here for a while, you know that I usually run a contest around launch time--and I swear, that contest IS coming. But not until I'm home from tour. So keep an eye out for that in a few weeks. And if you're in Colorado, Utah, Texas, or Arizona, I hope you'll come see me at my events! Here's where I'll be (or if that doesn't load, check my EVENTS PAGE):

I also have lots more fun extras and whatnot to share in the weeks and months ahead. Book 4 may be a year away, but there are LOTS of things to reveal in the meantime. So stick around and stay tuned. And in the meantime, to show you how much I <3 book:="" cloud="" commonly="" everblaze="" i="" in="" made="" most="" of="" p="" some="" the="" this="" used="" with="" word="" words="" you="">

And I know this is the point where those of you who do not live in any of these areas pout because I'm not coming to see you. Believe me, I'm sad too. I wish it were possible to go everywhere. But since it's not, I've got a couple of other options for how you can get signed books and some of the awesome tour goodies I'll be giving away:

  • If you want a hand-signed copy of EVERBLAZE and the swag I'll be giving out on tour (except the mirrors--those are only for the launch party), you can order a copy from the stores I'll be visiting and have them ship it to you. Independent booksellers tend to be the best organized for this, so I'd recommend either The King's English, Blue Willow, or Changing Hands. Shipping and availability may vary, so you'll want to be sure to ask. Phone numbers for all of the stores are listed above.
  • If you pre-order a copy of EVERBLAZE before 11/3/14, you can fill out the form on this blog for the Pre-Order Swag giveaway and as soon as I get home from tour, I will send you awesome signed swag. You'll get the Iggy postcard art print, a Keeper series bookmark, and a signed bookplate to stick in your copy and turn it into a signed hardcover (or put anywhere you'd like if you order the ebook.) Plus you'll have a chance to win some extra goodies (including a few of the exclusive launch party mirrors). And this offer is even open internationally--but is only for a limited time. Full details on how it works--and the form you'll need to fill out--can be found HERE

And in non-event related news: the KEEPER website has been totally redesigned, and it has some incredible new goodies I think you're going to LOVE!!! Go HERE to check it out, and be sure to keep an eye out for:

  • Sophie's Foxfire schedules
  • Foxfire Academy information
  • All the details you'll need to create your own Foxfire schedule
  • Awesome new character art
  • A quiz to discover your ability
  • A recipe for Mallowmelt
  • Plus an excerpt from EVERBLAZE--which includes the first TWO chapters (so yes, if you've read chapter one in the EXILE paperback, another chapter has been revealed!!!) Get thee there quickly for another early sneak peek!

Phew--I think that's everything!!! But as always, keep an eye on this blog, and my other social media because there's a good chance I'll have more updates in the days to come. I hope I get to meet some of you on tour, and that the rest of you sign up to get your swaggish goodies. And thank you all for the excitement and support--THE WAIT IS ALMOST OVER!!!!

8. The Long-Awaited EVERBLAZE Pre-Order Swag giveaway!!!

YAY--it's that time again!

Now that we are only three weeks away from the launch of EVERBLAZE (*pauses to flail*), it's time for the annual Pre-Order Swag giveaway!!!!!!

**FLINGS CONFETTI**

This is my way of trying to make up for the fact that it's simply impossible for me to tour to every city. So everyone who pre-orders a copy of EVERBLAZE before the cut-off date AND fills out the form at the end of this post*, will get this awesome EVERBLAZE swag mailed directly to them:

In case you can't tell from the picture, that is:
1 hand signed, limited edition Iggy a l'orange postcard art print
1 hand signed (and personalized, if you'd like) EVERBLAZE bookplate
1 EVERBLAZE bookmark

And yes, EVERYONE who pre-orders the book and fills out the form will get that!!!!!

But wait--there's so much more!

I will also choose ten (10) of you at random and give you this: (yes, that's in *addition* to the other swag!)

And again, in case you can't tell, that is:
1 sheet of four EVERBLAZE stickers
4 EVERBLAZE mini cards featuring Sophie and Fitz

As if THAT weren't awesome enough, I have one more prize. Five (5) additional winners will get all of the swaggish goodies up above, plus one of these:

The shiny, super-awesome Black Swan mirrors I'll be giving out at the official launch party! (for another picture of what they look like, go HERE) These might be the coolest swag I've ever seen, so trust me, you want to win one.

You don't have to do anything special to enter for the extra goodies. I'll choose the winners randomly from all the people who fill out the form for their swag. So that's the only requirement: you must fill out the form at the end of this post. Which of course means you also must pre-order a copy of EVERBLAZE

And because I like to keep things simple, I'm not requiring proof of purchase. If you say you bought it, I trust you. I'm counting on you guys to be honest. And remember, lying makes an alicorn poop on your head--but telling the truth makes it rain mallowmelt and Prattles! I also won't be announcing the winners online anywhere. If you're one of the lucky ones who wins the extra swag, you'll find out when your prize arrives with your extra goodies.

I'm also willing to mail the prizes anywhere--even internationally. And it doesn't matter if you pre-order an eBook or a hardcover. As long as it's EVERBLAZE, it counts. And you can buy that copy anywhere books are sold. Of course I recommend shopping local from your favorite indie and supporting a local business. But it's up to you where you want to shop.

I also know lots of you pre-ordered yours months and months ago. (which is awesome, btw.) And if that's the case, you can definitely still fill out this form and get your free swag. But you must pre-order your copy before 11:59 pm (pacific time) on 11/3/14 AND fill out the form before then. After that I'll close the form and there will be no more ways to enter.

And there's no limit on how many swag packs you can get. If you buy five books, you can get five swag packs (also five chances to be one of the winners for the extra goodies.) Just make sure you fill out the form separately for each copy you pre-order, so that I know how many swag packs to send you.

Also: since I'm leaving for tour the same day this contest ends, there *will* be a slight delay on when your swag gets mailed to you. But I promise I'll have them all in the mail before November 30th. (most likely much sooner). Sorry for the delay, I can't deal with mailing stuff while I'm traveling.

Um........... I *think* that covers everything--but if I missed something, feel free to ask in the comments.

And I just want to end by thanking all of you for your enthusiasm and support for this series. It is SO FUN watching it grow and find new readers. Thank you for telling your teachers and friends, and posting your edits on instagram, and sending me your fan art, and all of the other amazing things you guys do. Keep doing what you're doing--its working like a charm. And I can't wait for you to read EVERBLAZE.

Only three weeks left--AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, here's the form you need to enter, And if it doesn't load, click HERE.

*Please note: you must be 13 years or older to fill out this form. If you're not, please have your parent or guardian fill it out for you

9. EVERBLAZE Official SoCal Launch Party Details

Wow--we are less than five weeks away from the release of EVERBLAZE!!!!

(*cue all the jumping and flailing and scrambling and panicking*)

So keep an eye on this blog--and the rest of my social media--because I have ALL KINDS of fun updates coming for you, including the pre-order swag giveaway you're all so eagerly waiting for, and my Fall tour dates.

But while that's all getting finalized, I wanted to share one event that's already set: The Official EVERBLAZE Lauch Party!!!!  Here's all the deets:

And in case that graphic isn't loading for some reason, here the details are again in plain text:

Monday, 11/3/14
7:00 pm
Barnes & Noble Montclair Plaza
5183 Montclair Plaza Ln.
Montclair, CA 91763
909-399-1966

And yes--you're reading that date correctly. The official Launch party IS the day before EVERBLAZE comes out. So that means--if you come--you can buy your copy a day early!!!!!

As if that weren't incredible enough, let me give you another AWESOME reason to be there. Everyone who comes to the official launch--and buys a copy of EVERBLAZE--will also be given one of these amazing Black Swan mirrors:

For those who don't live in SoCal, I *will* be raffling off a few of these mirrors at each of my tour stops. Plus there will be a few online giveaways during the weeks after release to give everyone a chance to enter for one. But this Launch Party is the only time they'll be given out to everyone at the event. And they'll be given out first come, first served, while supplies last. So if you're worried about getting one, better get there early. :)

There will also be some very special RAFFLE PRIZES! And CUPCAKES!! And SWAG. And BOOKS!!! So many shiny copies of EVERBLAZE!!!! And I'll be signing ALL of them!!!!! Who doesn't want to be a part of that?????

It'll be the perfect way to kick off launch week, and I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!! I hope to see you there! Mark your calendars for 11/3/14. It's going to be EPIC!

If you have any questions, feel free to ask away in the comments section below.

And ....  that's it for now. But like I said in the beginning--stay tuned. I still have lots more events and giveaways and amazingness coming your way!! The next few weeks are going to be so much fun!

10. Team KEEPER Continues AGAIN!!!!

Hey there all you awesome KEEPER fans!

Don't worry--the old Team KEEPER Continued page is still working just fine, and going strong at over 500 comments. But because it's been so popular, I know some of you have been getting tired of sorting through the chaos, trying to find new comments in your various conversations. I wish I had a better way to keep everything organized for you guys, but my hands are a bit tied as far as what I can do.

So for those of you who at least wanted a fresh page to chat... TA DA! Consider this your new Team KEEPER page! (though like I said, the old one is still working, so you're welcome to keep commenting over there as well)

While I have you here, I thought it might also be a good time to give a few updates and answer some of the questions I keep seeing over and over and over.

First, the current official release date for EVERBLAZE is 11/4/14, so WOOOOOOOO, only about 5 months to go!!!!

The title, cover, and a brief description of the plot have all been released (if you somehow missed them, you can find them on the KEEPER main page by clicking here HERE) and the book is now officially DONE! And I have to say, I'm pretty proud of it. It was by FAR the toughest book I've ever written, but I really think we ended up with something you guys are going to LOVE. So excited to have you read!

*glares at calendar, wishing it were November*

Sadly, that's really all I can say about EVERBLAZE (trying to keep the internetz spoiler-free and all that jazz). But I CAN tell you that I have lots of fun things planned for the next few months as we lead up to the release day.

I'll be touring in August to celebrate the launch of the EXILE paperback (I promise I'll post the dates, times, and locations as soon as I have the final details. For now just know that a tour is happening). And I have some very fun contests coming up in the months ahead. Some of the giveaways will be right here on this blog. Others will be on social media, so if you use those platforms (and your parents are okay with it), you might wanna make sure you're following me there. Here's some handy links to make that easier:

Also, I know a lot of you have been wondering if I'll be doing a pre-order giveaway with swag and signed bookplates and whatnot (like I have with the other books in the past). And the answer is YES, I definitely will be. :)  I won't be posting the giveaway until we're a bit closer to the release day (otherwise it gets too buried under new posts and no one can find it) but that definitely does not mean you have to wait to pre-order. My pre-order giveaways always apply to all pre-orders, not just ones purchased between certain dates. So if you decide you want to order your copy now (and want to make me EVER so happy) feel free. You can still fill out the form when the giveaway goes live and get the same awesome prizes.

In fact, to make it easier for you (because I can be quite shameless), here's a few handy preorder links. Yanno. Just in case:

Okay, I think that gets you all up to speed on everything. So you are now free to comment away! But like always, PLEASE make sure you keep your discussions spoiler-free, so we don't ruin the fun for anyone who hasn't read both books yet. Also please keep your comments to each other positive or friendly. I want this to be a happy, safe place.

Also, if you need a refresher on who the teams are:

But you'll hopefully figure it all out--eventually. . .

Now....GO!

11. MMGM: EVERBLAZE Cover Copy REVEALED!!! (Plus the 5/5/14 links)

I know it's shameless to do anything for my books on MMGM day. But I *just* got the green light to finally share this, and since I'm leaving the country today, (London, Paris, & Edinburgh here I come!) it was share today, or wait two weeks. And I figured you guys would rather not have to keep waiting. :)

Related to that, since I'll be traveling, I won't be able to put together the links for the next couple of weeks. I *have* assembled something to go live each Monday with a list of all the people who've been a part of MMGM pretty regularly, since I'm assuming they'll have the best chance of posting again. But I know it won't be as good as it usually is, and all I can say is: sorry! (And I know some of you might be wondering why I don't just put up a widget and let you add your own links. The answer is: spammers. This blog gets a TON of them. And a TON of kid readers. And that is just a bad, bad combination).

Okay, enough Shannon-rambling. Here's the official EVERBLAZE cover copy (not to be confused with the "placeholder" copy some of you might have seen on amazon, which was not written by me, and was created before the book had been completed, so it wasn't *quite* as accurate)

Sophie Foster is ready to fight back.

Her talents are getting stronger, and with the elusive Black Swan group ignoring her calls for help, she’s determined to find her kidnappers—before they come after her again.

But a daring mistake leaves her world teetering on the edge of war, and causes many to fear that she has finally gone too far. And the deeper Sophie searches, the farther the conspiracy stretches, proving that her most dangerous enemy might be closer than she realizes.

In this nail-biting third book in the Keeper of the Lost Cities series, Sophie must fight the flames of rebellion, before they destroy everyone and everything she loves.

Sing it with me: Dun Dun Dunnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.

I know that probably raises more questions than answers, and sadly I can't tell you anything except: you'll find out when you read! And I am so excited for that to happen. Hurry up November 4th--we're waiting!

But hey, in the meantime, if you would like to pre-order, here's some handy links:

If you would like to join in the MMGM fun, all you have to do is blog about a middle grade book you love (contests, author interviews and whatnot also count--but are most definitely not required) and email me the title of the book you're featuring and a link to your blog at SWMessenger (at) hotmail (dot) com. (Make sure you put MMGM or Marvelous Middle Grade Monday in the subject line so it gets sorted accurately) You MUST email me your link by Sunday evening in order to be included in the list of links. (usually before 11pm PST is safe--but if I'm traveling it can vary. When in doubt, send early!)

12. EVERBLAZE Cover Revealed!!!!!!

I know I made you guys wait an EXTRA long time for this one--but once you scroll down and see the awesomeness I'm sure you'll agree that it was worth the wait.

And I know there's now point in saying anything else because you've already skipped over this to see the shiny so....

TA DA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It might be a *little* hard to tell because he's upside down (and yanno, sorta falling from a burning tower...) but that boy, dear readers, is Fitz.

FITZ!!!!

*stares at the amazing teal eyes*

So now we have all three boys represented on the covers. Words cannot explain how giddy this makes me.

And  I *know* showing you this cover is going to raise a bunch of questions, so I'm going to try to cover them here:

When does EVERBLAZE come out???The current scheduled release date is 11/4/14. Less than six months to go--WOO!!!!!!!
Can you tell us something about the plot???Um... not yet. BUT SOON.
Is EVERBLAZE the last book in the series???Well .... this is another question I can't answer yet. But again: SOON.
Does this mean there's a lot of Fitz scenes in the book????
Yes! Though there are also lots of Dex scenes and Keefe scenes and even quite a few Biana scenes, plus all your other favorite characters. EVERBLAZE is a rather long book. I'm not entirely sure how many pages it will be once it's all typeset, but it's longer than EXILE, so... a lot! And I love it. And it's FINALLY DONE. I can't wait for you guys to read!!!!!

Okay, I think that covers everything. I hope you guys love the cover as much as I do!

And now, I'm going to scroll back up and KEEP STARING AT THE INCREDIBLENESS!!!!

13. Team KEEPER Continued!

So wow. You guys have already maxed out the 200 Comment Limit on the new Team KEEPER page that I just built you--which is AWESOME, btw (clearly the KEEPER fandom is growing).

But it also leaves me with the *tiny* problem of not having anywhere for you guys to comment/interact with each other.

I've looked into lots of different things, but so far I haven't been able to find anything that lets you comment anonymously (since I know some of you have parents that don't want you creating accounts or using your name) and lets the comments be "threaded" (meaning you can reply to each other in a nice, organized, easy-to-follow way)

So for now, the only solution I can come up with is to move the conversation to another new place. Like oh, hey, RIGHT HERE.

You might want to bookmark this post so you can find it again, since this isn't a "page" like the others (though I have also added a link to this post on the Team KEEPER page, in case you can't find it). And if you fill all the comments on this page, I'll just create another.

SO.

As you were and carry on. Feel free to continue your Team debates (side note: I love that you guys are calling for me to make teams for characters who don't have them yet). It's also awesome that you guys have started discussing theories about things--though please, please, PLEASE make sure you keep that discussion spoiler-free, so we don't ruin the fun for anyone who hasn't read.

Also, if you need a refresher on who the teams are:

Ever feel like you don't belong? Then you look no further--you belong with Team Sophie! You may not always have the answers, but you're brave and smart, and if you trust yourself, you can handle anything. And as for who holds your heart? Only time will tell how you decide . . .

But you'll hopefully figure it all out--eventually. . . (and yes, we're all dying to see your picture!!!!)

Okay, and ............ GO!
