I can't believe how close we're getting to the release of LET THE WIND RISE (only three more weeks--OMG!) So of course that means it's time for the giveaway you've been waiting oh-so-patiently for--THE LET THE WIND RISE PRE-ORDER GIVEAWAY!!!!
(Please note: this is a LONG post with LOTS of important instructions, and you'll want to make sure you read it all carefully so you don't miss your opportunity)
Okay--here goes. Prepare for ALL THE INFORMATION.
(and yes, I will be doing something like this for LODESTAR's release--but that won't be posted until October so please don't ask me about it now. My brain can only handle one book release at a time)
For those who don't know, this giveaway is my way of trying to make up for the fact that it's impossible for me to tour to every city and meet all of my awesome readers. (and btw--if you haven't checked my events list, you can see where I'll be visiting HERE). I like to make sure everyone has a chance to get some of the fun swaggish things I give out at signings, as well as a signed bookplate to stick in your book and make it almost the same as a hand signed copy.
Which is why everyonewho pre-orders a copy of LET THE WIND RISE before the cut-off date (4/25/16) AND fills out the form at the end of this post*, will get these awesome LET THE WIND RISE goodies mailed directly to them:

Okay, so that's what's up for grabs. Now we move on to the next step in this process. The whole HOW DO I GET MY SHINY AWESOME SWAG PACK? question.
I try to make it easy (despite how lengthy this post always turns out being. So really, it comes down to two simple things: youmust pre-order a copy of LET THE WIND RISE before 4/25/16. ANDyou must fill out the form at the end of this post. That's it. That's all it takes.
I like to keep things simple, so I don't require proof of purchase. If you say you bought the books, I trust you. I'm counting on you guys to be honest. But remember, lying makes Raiden send Stormers to your house to get you. I'm pretty sure Gavin will also poop on your head.
I'm also willing to mail the swag packs anywhere--even internationally. And it doesn't matter if you pre-order an eBook or a hardcover of LET THE WIND RISE. And you can buy your copy anywhere books are sold. Of course I recommend shopping local from your favorite indie and supporting a local business. But it's up to you where you want to shop. I also know lots of you pre-ordered your copies months and months ago. (which is so incredibly awesome, btw.) And if that's the case, don't worry, you can definitely still fill out this form and get your free swag. But if you haven't bought it already, you must pre-order your copy before 11:59 pm (pacific time) on 4/25/16 AND fill out the form before then. After that I'll close the form and there will be no more ways to enter.
And there's no limit on how many swag packs you can get--as long as you buy the corresponding number of books. So if you buy five books, you can get five swag packs. Just make sure you tell me how many copies you bought so that I know how many swag packs to send you. Same goes for how many copies of LET THE SKY FALL and/or LET THE STORM BREAK you buy during the giveaway time period.
One final thing: I know some of you would prefer having an actual signed hardcover (personalized to you and everything) rather than a bookplate to stick in. And if that's the case, I'd recommend pre-ordering your copy from one of the places I'll be touring to. Many of them take orders (I know for a fact that Changing Hands is awesome about it). And I'll give them the swag to include when they ship your item to you. The only caveat to that is, you need to order your book before my event, so that I'll be able to sign it while I'm there. And if you decide to go that route, you wouldn't need to fill out the form at the end of this post. The store will take care of it for you.

I know some of you have been waiting ever-so-patiently for me to get my act together and get this organized (sorry for the delay--my travel schedule pushed everything back a couple of weeks). But I'm caught up and I'm ready and I have five awesome prizes. BEHOLD:
In case you can't tell, those are five (yes, FIVE) signed hardcovers of NEVERSEEN, all featuring hand drawn panakes blossoms (done by me, using prismacolor pencils, so they look even more awesome in real life). Since these are very special, very time consuming prizes for me to make, I want to make sure they go to true fans of the series. So like I've done in the past, I'm going to make you guys put in a *little* extra work to enter--but I've still done my best to also keep it as simple as possible and make a way that even those who haven't bought (or read) the book can still enter. AND, the advantage to this is, if you really really really want one, there are a lot of ways for you to get a TON of entries and increase your chances of winning.

And if the store you go to is sold out, you can always request they bring in another copy. In fact, I would love you FOREVER for doing that because it helps get books back on the shelf faster!)*
Tweet / Instagram / FB / tumblr / pinterest / google+ / ANY OTHER WAY YOU ATTACK THE INTERNETS with your own KEEPER series fan art (Anything goes here--feel free to be as creative as you want. You can post drawings, quotes, crafts. baked goods, anything you dream up.)*
You only have to do one--though you are welcome to do as many as you want. I'll reward you with an extra entry for everything you do (and every social media platform you post it on--each one counts for an extra entry). The only requirement is that it must be NEW. If you've posted fan art, photos of the book, or reviews in the past--thank you! (no really, THANK YOU) But if you want it to count for the contest you'll need to do something new during the contest time period (December 16, 2015 - January 3, 2016). Winners won't be posted anywhere, nor will they be contacted prior to mailing. You'll know you're a winner when your prize shows up (and if it doesn't, then sadly you didn't win). So triple check to make sure you enter your mailing address correctly because it'd be a shame for your prize to get lost in the mail.

Just wanted to give a quick heads up to let you know about something fun happening on Instagram today.
Some of the awesome KEEPER fans over there declared today KOTLC Fandom Day and are encouraging everyone to write their team name on their hand and post a pic. And I thought--wow, what a fun idea. (also I HAVE THE BEST FANS EVER). So I decided to sweeten the deal and add a giveaway.

I don't have the exact release date (if you see any listed online just know that it's only a placeholder date and may very well change).
I also don't have a plot description to share (mostly because I'm still writing the book...)
I can't show you the cover yet--BUT I WILL BE ABLE TO SOON. Like, think weeks, not months. Probably by the end of Jan. I'm not 100% sure on the exact date yet, so make sure you check back often. And I feel absolutely confident when I say: you guys are gonna LOVE it.

There's been a LOT going on around here, thanks to how close we're getting to the launch of EVERBLAZE. (Less than two weeks--AHHHHHHHH!) So in case you missed anything, I thought I'd put it all in one place, to make it nice and handy.

Is EVERBLAZE the last book in the series???Well .... this is another question I can't answer yet. But again: SOON.
Does this mean there's a lot of Fitz scenes in the book???? Yes! Though there are also lots of Dex scenes and Keefe scenes and even quite a few Biana scenes, plus all your other favorite characters. EVERBLAZE is a rather long book. I'm not entirely sure how many pages it will be once it's all typeset, but it's longer than EXILE, so... a lot! And I love it. And it's FINALLY DONE. I can't wait for you guys to read!!!!!

Wow, I can't believe LET THE STORM BREAK's launch day is finally here.
These last few years have been a crazy whirlwind of a ride (see what I did there? Yeah, that probably won't be the only wind pun in this post) and I can't believe my fourth book (second in my YA series) is now hitting shelves. No wonder I haven't slept in 2 years!!!

But it's actually really funny that I'm so excited about this post. Honestly, a few months ago this was something I'd been dreading.
See ... the thing about being an author is, sooner or later you have to ask people to buy your book. And I know for some people that's an easy and natural thing to say. But for me?
