2. SkADaMo Day 25

It’s the last day of November and looks like I’ve finally collapsed made it to the finish line of both SkADaMo and PiBoIdMo. Wooo hooo!

That was crazy but very rewarding. I might just have to come up with something to crazy up my December as well.

Hmmm, another Advent Calendar, 12 Days of Christmas again… maybe an elf a day. You never know.

3. SkADaMo Day 23

Right up until the moment Iggy remembered her intense fear of water, she quite enjoyed her day spent stalking ducks.

………………………………………………………………………………………..

Whoops! Missed a SkADaMo yesterday. Oh well, still going strong with PiBoIdMo. Soooo, I got that goin’ for me.

4. SkADaMo Day 21

Fox with toothpick.

Shady character, up to no good or innocent (t-shirt-wearing) woodland creature, practising good dental hygiene after Thanksgiving feast?

You decide.

SkADaMo and PiBoIdMo slightly slowed down but schlogging ahead!

5. SkADaMo Day 19

Got shopping, chopping, sauteing, cooking and baking on the brain.

6. SkADaMo Day 18

I have no explanation and sometimes no control over what pops in to my head. While some folks concern themselves with profundity I myself wallow in porcine silliness.

………………………………………………………………………………………………….

Happy to report that SkADaMo and PiBoIdMo are both alive and well.

7. SkADaMo Day 15, 16 and 17

Matilda Funkhauser’s vanity was beginning to get quite a foothold on her.

……………………………………………………………………………………………………..

So here is yet another attempt to make up for lost time with SkADaMo. Three days = three sketches.

It’s a bit of a a variation on a theme I did for my 2009 Advent Calendar.

It pays to recycle, eh?

Also, lagged a day on PiBoIdMo, but caught up today. Whew!

8. SkADaMo Day 14

Although traveling during the Thanksgiving holiday can prove to be quite challenging, Tomas felt it would be worth his while to get out of town for a few days.

It’s past the halfway mark for both SkADaMo and PiBoIdMo and I’m still going strong. Wooo to the hoooo!

9. SkADaMo Day 12 and 13

On a tight deadline, sketching for a client caused me to miss my SkADaMo sketch. But I’m not complaining!

Clients… good!

Anywho, quite a long time ago my friend Michel suggested the idea of sketching gangster squirrels after a discussion on Facebook about… gangster squirrels. Loved the idea, but for some reason it took until now to do it.

So, in an effort to make up for the lost day, and because I wasn’t sure if Michel meant gansta or gangster I decided to do both.

Which squirrel would be scarier to meet in a dark alley?

You decide.

10. SkADaMo Day 11

It’s late and I’m barely squeaking a sketch in tonight.

So I leave you with this dancing wombat; yet another underrepresented critter on my blog.

Go wombat! Go wombat! Go wombat!

11. SkADaMo Day 10

The Illustration Friday theme this week is “silent,” and the first thing that pops into my juvenile mine is potty humor.

I even tried out my iFart app to get into character.

Aaaaaanywho, another day another SkADaMo and another PiBoIdMo!

12. SkADaMo Day 9

Do you need to come out of your shell a little more? Well, Mr. Turtle’s dress shop has just the thing for you.

……………………………………………………………………………………………………………….

Alright, it wasn’t done for specifically for SkADaMo, but here’s a detail of a little rough sketch I’m working on for a client.

A sketch a day is a sketch a day, I figure.

Also, still keeping up with PiBoIdMo. Should have quite the cache of picture book ideas by the end of the month!
